We were just getting on the plane home from Auckland when we got the news the RIU has reversed its decision and Natalie is free to drive at trials and raceday. We were surprised it took this long but at least is happened and we can get on with it. We have pulled Thefixer out of the Canterbury Classic. Just a little foot problem and we will probably point him toward Methven so Nat will be on Eamon Maguire. We have about eight going to the trials on Wednesday including Cruz Bromac. I decided to nominate Winterfell for the Dominion Handicap but it is really a little bit of a throw at the stumps. The thing is he is a natural stayer and handicapped to run against those sort of horses and if he came up in the spring and measured up you’d feel a fool not having him in.
