good tipping there gammalite.Once it got the run behind its stablemate it always looked good.the dixons do that a lot,the slightly more favoured runner does the work and the stablemate gets the economical run. The draws meant they could do that and your tip was good enough to capitalise on the nice run it got. the horse quality is high tonight,but the racing i thinks not been very exciting. it seems in every race tonight they settle in their positions,no one moves up,then only go average speed, then they sprint home from the 800m and the ones up front naturally don't stop. it was like in every race the drivers were witing for next week. a bit like watching racing at auckland,but just had more horses in them. acrually you mention gus. I watched some of his runs before and after you tipped him a month ago. I'm sure hes the best trotter there,i just don't have much confidence in the driver,p mcmullen.He just keeps getting beaten by just following them around ,seemingly waitng for next week.Again he drove a poorly judged race tonight.i'm sure if he had say b orange driving he would have won all his recent starts,apart from the one he galloped at the start in. the way leap to fame won,it looked like he might even be getting better,if thats possible. anyway,you've got the first of the three legs in.2 to go. -

The latest batch of National Stud students to graduate from both the Level 3 Stud Management and Sales Consignment course and Entry To Stud Employment (E2SE) programme celebrated their achievements at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket on Friday. Abigail Parker received the Tim Dunlop Memorial Award for Top Student after demonstrating outstanding work across both the practical and academic elements of the course. At the ceremony hosted by former Great British Racing CEO Rod Street, Leo Wilson was presented with the TBA's Entry To Stud Employment top student award. Also recognised for their work at the awards ceremony were: Grace Agnew – Watership Down best practical award. Adam Wolwark – Alborada Trust for most improved student. Reuban Davies – John Pearce Foundation Award Of Merit. Eve Bentley – recognition award. “It is fantastic to be able to celebrate our students in such a historic and beautiful setting such as the Jockey Club Rooms,” said National Stud CEO Anna Kerr. “These two courses are tailored to provide the best possible start in the Thoroughbred industry, no matter where you come from or experience level you have. It is with huge thanks and gratitude to the trusts and charities who support us that we can provide these opportunities for those who want to work in racing, we wouldn't be able to do it without them.” The Level 3 Stud Management and Sales Consignment course runs from mid-September to the end of April, taking in both the sales and breeding seasons. Students will participate in sales prep, work placements with consignors, and foaling, and can take advantage of the comprehensive evening lecture programme and career guidance sessions. Applications for 2025-2026 are now open. The E2SE has been rebranded in 2025 as the Thoroughbred Industry Access course, which runs for 16 weeks during the summer and caters for those with little to no experience of horses. Ranga leads the field with his 10 points bonus scored tonight, but won't have that in next round . some Longer race Heats are on the cards for Next week. so some will be even further behind Leap To Fame than what they were tonight 😂 Nearly all horses performed well but some might be traded next round that just are/were not up to it e.g like Eurokash and Majestic Lavros for Brodie and Mikey to get them a more competitive horse for next 2 weeks.
