    • Manawatu have 7 noms for 2 races for non winners, be interesting to see how they manage that but non winners should have the most numbers but not the case, Southland no better sometimes too.
    • Really?  Dig deeper my friend.  Their sponsorship deals have been a real mess of late and their corporate decision making has been appalling. 2024 delivered the third annual loss in a row of $19m.  Yes they have a strong balance sheet but it is bleeding.  Even the All Black brand is losing appeal.  We think the coach replacement was about on field performance but was it?  Not to mention the direct corollary with NZ Racing where the only Provincial Union making a profit is Auckland by virtue of it being the preferred Test venue.  25 of 26 Unions are essentially insolvent.
    • Absolute garbage Never personally attacked any license holder...ONLY criticism for cheats, layabouts, drug users, assault and battery purveyors Oh and MEGALOMANIACS
    • i truly believe that the emphasis and importnace HRNZ and nz media put on slot races as a way of promoting the sport and rewarding the high end performers  is a symptom of organisations out of touch with what is best for the industry. put simply, the hype is so out of touch with the realities of the publics and the grass roots industries interest in these events is so overblown, its just sad. I really don't get why anyone ,i mean anyone, would think the people who have starters at methven ,or winton or rangiora over the next couple of days would have more interest in a slot race than who they  ran against at the workouts last week. In fact,i think you could guarantee every person who say ,has a non win horse running this weekend would be able to name lots and lots  of horses that they have run against recently, yet if you ask them who are in the slot races at cambridge, they would go,i don't know,i guess leap to fame and kingman, then say,i'm not really too intersted in slot races. One day,it can't be too far away, maybe within 2 years, industry stakeholders are going to demand a  seismic shift in who is governing HRNZ and who they prioritise. is as certain as day follows night. the so called smart people strategies have been ..we need change, because change is good...Well change is only ever good if it works better than what you had before.. harness racing just needs to get back to basics. all this money they are throwing away should be spent on so many other things of importance that will undermine the industry in years to come.. HRNZ priorites are away with the fairies and the NZ harness media is running alongside those fairies blowing them back in the air.
    • Morty I didn't say you were close to being guilty.  What I said was you were close to crossing the line.  As you know there was another protagonist behind the scenes hence the scurrying to delete stuff. What I've seen recently posted by a group of individuals has crossed the line you didn't cross.  However they seem more empowered by your judicial outcome and an extreme interpretation of what consitutes Free Speech.   If I recall correctly your crusade started with calling out the Stipes and NZTR about the safety of the bend at Awapuni.  In then migrated to questioning the personal ntegrity of those called out.  In my opinion the 90 horses was an irrelevant sideshow.  But it did distract Purcell. In all that you didn't defame or seriously abuse anyone which is what I've seen a lot of recently.
