    • The beautifully-bred PARADISE (f, 3, Gun Runner–Venetian Harbor, by Munnings) picked up her first points towards the Road to the Kentucky Oaks Saturday with a win over a small field in the Busher Stakes at Aqueduct. Facing just four rivals, the filly exited a maiden win going this same one-mile distance at Gulfstream Park Jan. 4 before shipping to New York for her stakes debut. Jockey Manny Franco kept his filly in third for most of the running and under a tight hold as Current Yield (Nyquist) and Interstatelovesong (Bolt d'Oro) carved out the fractions up the backstretch. Unleashed to come wide around that pair turning for home, the 6-5 favorite made easy work of that duo, earning the advantage at the eighth pole and striding out nicely to pick up the win. Nycon (Nyquist) put in an eye-catching late run to steal second from Interstatelovesong. The final time was 1:38.53. With the win, Paradise earned 37.5 points due to the five-horse field. Lifetime Record: 3-2-1-0. O-NK Racing and LNJ Foxwoods; B-Ciaglia Racing, LLC, HNDEH & Domenic Savides; T-Brad Cox. • 2nd-Gulfstream, $68,000, Msw, 2-28, 3yo, 6f, 1:10.44, ft, 2 1/2 lengths. LINCOLN'S LAW (c, 3, Liam's Map–Bernadreamy, by Bernardini), a half-brother to Chancer McPatrick (McKinzie), MGISW, $817,875, was overlooked at 6-1 for this debut run. Not off to the greatest of beginnings, he was ridden from his outside draw to press the early leaders from third through an opening quarter in :22.34. He ranged up three deep at the quarter pole and took over in the stretch to win going away by 2 1/2 lengths over favored Quentin B (Promises Fulfilled). The winning mare Bernadreamy, just a $40,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase by Rigney Racing, produced a Nyquist filly this year. The Liam's Map x Bernardini cross is also responsible for GISWs Colonel Liam and Wicked Whisper. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $40,800. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by FanDuel TV.
