I believe they are wasting money. Tinkering in fact. I recall posting 11 years ago about the state of the track at Ellerslie on another channel. I took photos when my horse was racing there. Having walked the track it was clearly evident that the turf and soil was stuffed. Drainage and sand slitting yady yady ya won't fix that problem. Look at Te Rapa - worked initially but only a short term fix - now they race on an uneven turf which has large pockets of sand. The irony is the ARC is racing at Te Rapa when there is a perfectly good track 20 mins away to the west!

I actually prefer your inferred swearing rather than the correct spelling. Also don't get too personal with your jibes at the powers that be. For example we have started an interesting conversation with the RIU over TCO2 testing which I know is a favourite subject of yours. We have correspondence from HRNZ where they are intending to align their rules with the direction the RIU has requested.
