You miss my point. The ATR are doing it for nearly all races. A $40k R65 would make no difference to punting turnover if it was just the NZTR minimum. It also appears that ATR are funding that top up from the realised capital they obtained throught the land sales.

Of course credit betting is not be confused with using your credit card to put a bet on. Bruton started to unravel when he started punting on Super Rugby and he kept doubling up on the Brumbies in 2002 who he backed in the final against the Crusaders to win $500,000. Unfortunately in the last mintues of the game in one of the best defensive displays in the history of rugby Merthens kicked the match winning goal. The story goes Bruton got up off his couch and said to his mates he was going for a walk - they picked him up at Raikaia! As most systems do over time. So the TAB did "give a shit"! How was he treated badly? He punted with his Lyell Creek winnings, had a long winning streak and revelled in the publicity and took all the rebates and baubles that came with it. But as @Trojan asks where is the business case for the Greenfields site? They will have to do something different because none of the members of the "new" consortium were making an operational profit when they joined Waikato Thoroughbred Racing Incorporated. That entity had nearly a $1m loss on racing last year.

Well I've written to Leigh McKenzie requesting him to remove @Joe Bloggs aka @farnakler's posts that are lies and defamatory. I've also warned McKenzie that if @Joe Bloggs wishes to pursue legal action then he will also be involved. But you are right nothing has changed on that site. I've double checked @Joe Bloggs account on BOAY which he has publicly admitted is his account and the email address that belongs to that account has not been changed since the account was created by him on 7 October 2019. So if his wife is receiving BOAY system generated emails that are sent each time his avatar is mentioned concerns her then she should take it up with @Joe Bloggs . It would also appear that the devices used on that account have remained consistent since that date. As far as the threats of legal action and notifying NZTR are concerned well to say I find that amusing would be an understatement. After this post I will remove his access that allows the receipt of system generated emails.

To be fair @Comic Dog is desperate and allows his so called "mates" free reign. @Joe Bloggs has had multiple user accounts here and on RC. He uses three email addresses one of which appears to be his wifes or is shared with his wife. The @Joe Bloggs account is linked to that address. He makes wild accusations while hiding over on the dark side and my right of reply is here on BOAY. I asked Leigh Mckenzie on several occasions to address the issue or allow me the right of reply over there. He refuses and more often than not replies with some smart arse reply supporting @nomates and @Joe Bloggs. Invariably there is the threat of legal action. @Joe Bloggs crossed the line when he accused me of trolling and stalking his wife. The problem lies squarely with him. I guess he is correct when he says he has trouble remembering one alias let alone three.
