What do you think of Erin Leighton? Seems to have a cool head and speaks well. Had a bit of a rocky past so good to see her doing OK. -
Vets gave the all clear. Galloped the best she ever has this week. Waller thinks the trip south may have just softened her a bit in her last race. $8 for the Cox Plate and it looks like being wet. Will she get her revenge on Zaaki?

Weird @Gammalite the blasts from the past you throw up. We must have had a very similar passion and focused interest in harness racing when we were younger. The thing that got me thinking it was Cardy was the dark legs versus the lighter upper body. For a moment I thought it might have been Young Quinn (U Scott again through his son Young Charles).

I had another look. You are right. Self Assured ran in a lot more than South Coast Ardern ran out.

But it definitely took Self Assured's line and hampered its run. You'd expect that there would be. How do we know it "won't happen"?

Why not? The data usage is minimal. The only downside is if you move to a zone that doesn't have coverage.

Last night the horse moved out when she pulled the ear plugs. What I've been noticing is that horses tend to move away from the side that the ear plugs are pulled from.

What's PDF? Do you mean Prise De Fer? Of the Te Akau runners I prefer Savvy Yong Blonk. Average rating for the race 90. 16 going round......hard race to pick the winner!

All horses do run the occasional shocker....except the likes of Winx. Hard to keep a stallion keen on the job for four years of training and racing.

Yep Blossom Lady was correct. Caduceus won the Interdom Final at Harold Park in front of a world record crowd of nearly 51,000. Highland Fling ran 2:10 as a two year old, in 1948 he ran 1:57.8 for the mile, broke the world 2 mile record and ran 2:00 on grass.

I've been listening to 2KY - Sky Sports Radio since 7am. Brilliant Dufficy, Munsie, Radley, all the top trainers have been interviewed. Track Managers interviewed. Analysis of track conditions based on historical data. They just did an analysis of the Caulfield track - currently a Heavy 8 - they reckon it will come into a least a Soft 7. Well he might well be lucky but it looks like a tough day at the office for all today at Randwick. That track can get tricky when a Soft 7. Jason Collett might have a good day. JMac's best chance is probably Nature Strip - drawn well for the conditions and doesn't mind a wet track. But it will be tough.

You should brush up on some memory exercises. Some handy horses in it which he put away easily. Hardly a campaign!!!! He only ever had one start in Brisbane in the Doomben Cup! Not the first horse to not adapt to the Brisbane climate especially a Northern Hemisphere bred and raced horse. Being a stallion they tend to race hot anyway.
