  1. Sorry to shoot you down but I've never heard of damaged soil structure "reconditioning itself." Did they put in any sand or organic material to improve the soil structure? Remember Te Rapa have taken the same approach and look where that track is now.
  2. If the soil structure is stuffed which I suggest it is at Ellerslie (well it was 6 years ago when I last walked the track) then how does the water find its way to the drains? Water flows through gravel but doesn't flow through plasticine!
  3. Somehow I don't think so. They only did a patch job not a renovation. Did they take the opportunity to recondition the soil? NOPE.

  6. If I may have the final word on this topic. I've found Hesi to be a thoroughly honourable gentlemen and I can confirm that what he has posted on this matter is 100% correct. You don't need to have trained a Group winner or vicariously owned one to be able to post with authority on BOAY.
  7. I appreciate more than anyone the need to vent because of disgusting treatment by the two in question. However I've come to decision that they are not worth giving oxygen to. Perhaps the rest of us should consider the same approach? The irony is their egos hate it more when you ignore them! As has happened in the past one or both of them will get what they deserve regardless of us talking about it. Onwards and upwards BOAYERS!
