  1. Matty is the best driver south of the Waitaki....what more does one need to be!
  2. It will beat driving at Forbury on a wintry Thursday night in May.
  3. A good yank on the chain at the end lol. Who knows though, I have never driven a horse so hard for me to know what the rein action means. Should drivers be encouraged to let the horse go and if it breaks so be it?
  4. You are too harsh on yourself KH.
  5. You could well be right.
  6. It is a massive read but very interesting to go through all the precedents. Maybe it is a sign of things to come in Operation Inca. Seems like he had a good run punting! Also shows they can track your bets pretty carefully...be wary Brodie...they are watching you. I just can't understand why these drivers etc don't get a mate to bet for them and take away the chances of getting caught. Surely it isn't that hard. http://www.jca.org.nz/non-race-day-hearings/non-raceday-inquiry-riu-v-s-lawson
  7. In Race 4, I like The Doorman at 5.50ff and 2.10ff. He has been running good enough races and has a slightly better draw to work with against an average field. If he can settle ahead of Miss Ethel Sunshine then he will be in it for sure. Forbury isn't Addington and sometimes it is just your turn to win. My roughie is Beaudiene Overtake at 16ff and 4ff. Be nice to see her get a clean run during a race. Think she might come into it even more if the favourites on the front line go to war with each other early. Globe, Clifden Clowers at 6.50ff, the form this horse is in means the money could be worth taking as it a big drop in class.
  8. Hard to see Cheerful being beaten after last week's run.
  9. You could take Basil's advice and answer my questions.
  10. Why did you use this name and how did you obtain it?
  11. That is a a worry. How does he get it? Makes your mind wander to the bad old days of RC.
  12. No. So you know of them? FU etc can confirm you are actually Greg?
  13. Of course it is aimed at you. You are the one using first names. I don't support anyone btw.
  14. Too true Globe. But I am sure George Bernard Shaw must have posted on RC as he quote is so applicable to some of the discussions we had with the All Stars brigade...
  15. Agree. Stop it or just post on RC.
  16. Yes, but at the moment Wales V All Blacks is a contest and has nothing to do with the fact they haven't beaten them since 1953. At the moment, the AB's are not going to win by 40 so I would watch. Back in the 80s or 90s when Wales sucked, it wasn't much to watch back then either but with the comparative lack of test matches it ws still something most people would watch. Some of the most memorable games are between the minnow. I just don't get into the All Blacks V Portugal games. With wall to wall racing on TV and so many other entertainment options it is hard for regular people or certain kinds of racing diehards to get excited about big races which are already won. The only way for harness racing to get on the news for good reason is either a feel good story or a showdown between 2 champions. I am rambling now.
  17. Same for me. If the All Stars are not breaking any laws or rules then what is the problem? They seem to care for their horses very well. Nothing but the best.
  18. So what are the All Stars doing morally wrong?
  19. The 2018 world cup last 8 would have been paying 1 million to 1
  20. Did u have it for the place...at 16s!
  21. But you used the word 'legal'. So I am not sure how morals come into it.
  22. Which is ok isn't it?
  23. I was making my own statement. I wasn't commenting on your comments Big B.
