Onya Weasel,I new I could rely on you!
Gutsy win by Funstar today.
Another one I will add to the list is a 2yr old (currently getting broken in)?who's half brother won on Friday. Maybe this could be a trivia question for Ace and the boys.Name the 1/2 brother?
Ok people, we don't have to nail our colours to the wall here!Just something you maybe following.Mardigras,Curious,Barry any thoughts anyone?
I will kick off with a few I've been tracking for a while.
Magic Wand - Mer de Glace - Raymond Tusk - Durreto - Kenedna - Prince of Arran - Funstar - *Royal Meeting *
With some great racing coming up,is there any horses to look out for over the next few months?
Best bets ,value or longshots !
Good luck over the coming months?
Like Miss Hataoka did ,Na saved the day last week +24%
Both tournaments this week I could have taken 10/20 players!
Going with familiar players
BMW Fitzpatrick and Pavan
USA AN and McCarthy
Ace,What's happened to Thomo?I know a few had the needle with him but he used to put some good stuff(and bad stuff) for us to debate and chew on! Informative and destructive in one paragraph but that's Thomo. With the Spring Carnivals about to kick off we are going to need as much information as we can get.
As Dickie Emery would say "you are awful, but I like you"
Small interest this week
KLM - Horsfield
USA - Na and An
Housework from the last few weeks.
Nothing on last week, week6 +46%, week 7 +322%, week 8 -18%
I like both Fleetwood and Fitzpatrick (course winner).I'm steering away from looking for the winner.
Bjeregaard T20
USA::Ko A sizzling final round 64 last week, in great form
Hotly run race Thomo, which suit the off the pace runners.Ground was pretty firm which wouldn't have suited a few runners. Good enough runs by Prince and Withhold on that ground if they go down under.
Ace, I wandered over to see what the fuss is all about and to be fair Mardi did label the winner and Barryb the roughie, in what was a pretty difficult race.I would have priced the field at "double carpet" it was that poor a field!?.As for the other pricers, the stars were not quite align!
Good rigorous debate here guys and an interesting article Curious.
Question: Is the article relevant in Australasia and is there any updated similar information available for racing down under?
Cheers
Fellowes is a good young trainer who is not shy in labelling his horses in interviews(good on him).I know we are a wee way out from the Melbourne carnival, but I have got my eye on a double D !! Dee Ex Bee and Duretto.
Any other thoughts?
