Trackside's DISGRACEFUL treatment of NZ Thoroughbred Racing
Thomass posted a topic in Galloping Chat
Just how RANK has the Trackside Thoroughbred product become?? ZERO atmosphere, no course presenters, virtually ZERO audio of the great sport of Kings... They could have adopted the FAKE NEWS crowd audio that other World Wide sports of Football and Aussie League inserted... ...but as hopeless is hopeless does....ZERO, NADA...NOTHING They accidentally retained...occasionally that is...of the Barrier gate microphone...that's f in all Imagine a Casino pokie machine with ZERO sound ZERO flashing lights...ZERO excitement? Up close, a Thoroughbred horse race is full of noise...Jockeys complaining, hooves pounding, whips cracking, crowd yelling their ass's off... NZ Trackside...what paddy f in shot at Im pretty sure the old NZRB wanted to pay back the Thoroughbred Industry for complaining how useless and incompetent they were... And what a pay back...a PASSIONLESS, CLINICAL operating theatre like 'production' Then punishing us with ZERO personality types such as Sweeney and Rodley in a ZERO atmosphere studio F them -
So FINALLY...after being alerted to this post... ...the hopeless RIU decided to post a tiny addendum to yesterday's report that... ...they 'heard' a race was run 2 weeks ago at an incorrect distance... No ALERTS on either the NZTR or RIU websites of the F UP... Just slip it in hoping nobody notices... What a bunch of amatuers
-
#yeana..... But seriously...a racing industry that is basically broke, requiring Government assistance, can't have the luxury of converting such valuable land for the landed gentry of Remuera types... just sitting there...activated for a few meetings...while Rome burns... Sell the sod off...invest in a Strath surface, which they should have done instead of a piddling drainage job...and race every 2 weeks THROUGHOUT the year... No 3 months off nonsense Alternatively sell the whole thing off....buy a Greenfields project out Muriwai way....or Port Waikato..both close to the population bases...even setting up a new training centre there...with the white elephant Hill funds.... Oh...and sell off that dog Pukekohe too Sorted
-
So today the HOPELESS RIU have the chance to ALERT Stakeholders to the fact a race was run at the incorrect distance 2 weeks ago... Was the Starter a new fella who didn't know wtf the 1100M peg was driven in and guessed? WTF knows.... But today's your chance boys in suits... Do what you're paid to do...thanks

Had me hands full..and been tied down...sometimes at the same time...such is lockdown!
-
Let moi simplify the readings for you... Many of us care for the state of NZ Racing... Retaining pathetic protocols such as these led to the McGovern f up Similar to the pathetic scenes at HQ where Gripper lost the plot in the COA Cup....by not following laid out common sense protocols...funnily enough Hope that helps
-
Are me ears deceiving moi or is that what the Starter's yelling out..simultaneously as he/she releases the field when pressing the button?? Maybe the Jocks all carry a rag out with them and give them a swipe as they leave or something...wiping all the b/s they've just spouted out to the starter...or the Shyte talk they expunge in the gates between themselves... ...like "which one of us is going to lead boys and girls...ok I'm gunna take an uncontested lead...agreed?...yep no probs" Because we know what goes on girls and boys.... Anyway..if it's "Watch ya Gates"...which could be a possibility ...then that would be the silliest requirement that the previous Barrier Boys at Ellerslie ever foisted upon the rest of the country... ...you know... when they had a mass meeting of Starters...organised by the hopeless RIU at HQ so ALL Starters in NZ were on the same page...aka PROTOCOLS Guess what...there is ABSOLUTELY no good that can come out of that ridiculous standard requirement...only F Ups Which is what happened back in a March at HQ...when unbelievably the new Starter McGovern...a vastly experienced Starter....got all miscombomulated and pressed the go button while shouting out the required b/s "WASH YA GATES"!!! Trouble is he didn't press the button hard enough...the Jocks anticipated he would....over half the field hit the gates...the Jocks then looked around to abuse him...then McGovern let them go!! Without a vet check FFS! 4 Horses came back to scale injured and McGovern got hauled into the room "McGovern...WTF were you doing letting the field go without vet checking them" "Your Honour...I didn't see any horses hit the Barrier"!!! Holy f...if b/s were Jelly Beans...McGovern just swallowed the whole f in packet right there! That aside you'd think the hopeless boys at the RIU would realise that "Wash ya gates" was a hopeless dead end nothing good to come out of it b/s statement.....yea na Come the return to Racing post bug...surprise surprise...the rusty Starter at Riccarton on the first 2 days... "ok...last one coming up boys and gals....WASH YA GATES"!!! " oh..f me hold it..no power"!!! Brilliant...at least no horses hit the gates hard enough to come back injured....4/5 did though... Listen up John Oatham of the hopeless RIU...just tell them to STOP IT NOW..
-
So a couple of weeks ago the winner ZOLTAN was being investigated by the suits at RP as being a potential record holder...yea good luck with that... Being a suspicious f'er..Chief Gobder of the Rank Integrity Uniks calls me a "train spotter"...no Mickey...it's called INTEGRITY of the Thoroughbred product ffs! ...anyway I looked at other 1100M races and discovered the Gates were IN THE WRONG PLACE! How could they get something so vital SOOOO wrong? Anyway human error is rife in human life...we all know that...apart from the Righteous Right led by Hoskings... But what is totally UNFORGIVABLE in this cock up is the behaviour of NZTR and the hopeless RIU... NZTR simply went to the official result and altered the 'OFFICIAL' distance... ...WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE!!! Not even the RIU who should have been over this from the time...the really relly FAST TIME was posted...IGNORED IT! STILL to this day the equally HOPELESS NZTR and RIU refuse to alert stakeholders to the F UP... They just think it's best to avoid any EMBARRASSMENT and let stakeholders stumble over the fact the race was run @ 12/15 Lengths shorter... Yes were all seriously busier with the bug...but that doesn't excuse producing a SIMPLE alert that a race was run at the INCORRECT DISTANCE FFS!!

Great use of hoods! If only they had proper hoods on...they'd look complete race horses eh Cheef?

Na, not me back....although speaking of that...thank da Gods for lockdown!! Its never felt so good...or clean for that matter..thanx to she who shouldn't be mentioned...the PRINCESS!!... F me..Talk about clean...na not her...she's as dirty as she ever has been...praising da Gods...buttttt...I've had more deep tissue massages, clean overs, hot flannies, salt scrubs and been thrashed unmercifully with cat o nine tail like palms fronds than anyone could care to fantasise about... ...and then there were the walks...holy f....The WALKS!! Beth the pig dog went on so many killing expeditions she had a breakdown...became a pacifist and joined up with the pigs...she said it was the Stockholm syndrome but I'm not believing that b/s...bitch Then the Princess, through her lockdown alcoholic haze, went all 'humanitarian' on me and kept donating stuff to weird 'charities'...... ..she thought I 'd become a fan of the K League and donated my entire selection of Korean dolls to the Sth Korean Football Association...who then displayed them as fake crowd complete with the leather masks I'd made them sweeties...idiot It was K Pop ffs...here Blackpink...my fav...try them https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bwmSjveL3Lc Anyway back to topic...IM F IN BACK!!! Cos we need some ACCOUNTABILTY in this industry! And here's a tip..get ya apostrophes sorted or you'll end up talking a load of b/s! Kia f in kaha mofos

Can't you read? "C is the biggest LAY since Mata Harri went through the British Army" RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT
-
No! What I SAID should have been the Blue Print! Typical Jockey tactics having his one and only ride this campaign.. Used up to get handy...bashed him 21 times up the straight...gets a whip suspension... loses the battle...the 1 kg made the difference Should have listened to moi!
-
Cmon boys..have you got a coronavirus inhabiting a space? The Japs can afford to cancel out problem horses...we can't... Its that simple... If you've got a problem with the non skill of Muzza's and Jammie's Breakers... You send them an email with the Breaker of your dreams.. Barrier Blankets rule..ok? Especially on IN A TWINKLING types who were tardy out previously... Then in the Derby without...When the bloody minded Starter refused to read the Manual and adhere to a Starters card...
-
Out of form out of class neddys are more likely...especially handy positioned neddys as stated... How often is a Derby/Oaks race, with maximum numbers, destroyed by an out of form Maiden trolling back through the field... It only takes one Owner/Trainer, in love and out of touch, to destroy a Black Type contest
-
So 'expert form analysers'...Rodley and Tan...think Mick Donald will sit up on the outside of AB...and pounce Yea Na boys...Why ride the horse upside down...give it a gut buster first up...in a lead up race? Chips instructions will be to drop back..get cover..let it stride home down the outer Shirley?
-
You're right of course... This problem occurs mainly with owner/trainers...they're basically in love...and think a completely out of form horse can match any other... A couple of years ago an owner/trainer from HB started his 2 maidens in a mid weak on his HB course...ran last and 2nd last... 2 Days later he travelled both to a Premier Maiden at HQ and of course both ran ingloriously..tailed well off... The RIU had required a vet inspection..which didn't include bloods...just a wee look Simply not good enough in this day and age.... NZTR should retain the right to withdraw horses deemed totally outclassed... And naturally they can cause mayhem if racing handy and drifting quickly out on a rail position....
-
ok think Ive got this... So the Japs don't use them due to the high humidity being that dry air is more suitable to conduct static electricity And all those years where NZ Racing had no Barrier blankets...we were too humid... ..so we didn't need them..but with climate change the air is as dry as a nuns cabinet locker...being they don't drink? is that right Fred
-
I wrote wtf is wrong with that Chef...are you THAT pc?
-
So down to 7... ...oh then there's the fuckled Melbourne weather...which could ...but looks like a bit of Gods spit at the mo... Actually good point.. ...the only way C has a chance is if Weiry gets hold of a treadmill and Jigger...then convinces Chip to put the Hood back on... ..to activate pavlov's dog...
-
Oh yea...The Dr. Whats his Doctorate in...training Spies? Or was he learning the art of spying in a foreign country with NZ in its name?
-
So on Trackside Radio... ...Mark Claydon bravely asked the 'INCOMPETENCE' Unit's CEO Godber...formally known as RIU...about the legs being cut off a neddy named INCOMPETENT UNIT... (...btw SHAME on these owners for using a beautiful Thoroughbred horse to make a political 'protest' with such a disgraceful name...but they more than likely knew the subsequent outcome...and htf NZTR allowed that through is remarkable...or are they also aware of how often the RIU simply LIE their way through their limited days?) ...or the 'late' scratching of said horse...agreed to by NZTR...who finally came to their senses "oh we can't allow the Integrity of this organisation to be questioned..it undermines our work" Of course he's correct in this instance... ...if an 'Integrity' Organisation is continually undermined by License holders....( there's other OFFICIAL pathways for that)....the entire foundation of the Thoroughbred Industry is at risk of becoming legless... ...obviously in an Industry like ours... ....INTEGRITY is EVERYTHING So to the LIES....if this word keeps raising it's ugly head in connection with an organisation charged with upholding INTEGRITY...then there's a serious problem... In the recent Ellerslie Inquiry involving the Lindsey and Te AKAU horse...Guerin 'investigated' the obvious problem with the suggested chain of events... He concluded "someone's lying"...neither clearing the RIU or Te Akau from his claim...this was a fairly big statement from Guerin considering he's employed by the ARC and sucks up BIG TIME to all his 'mates'...a typical back patting ass slapping 'new' Racing Media man... In another example in May last year, the Tractor towing the Starting Gates started rolling down a drain, with half the field in the stalls...they proceeded to do the side ways shuffle for a Metre while someone rushed to pull the brake on... The RIU report said "mechanical breakdown"....being suspicious I contacted the Club.. ...who confirmed it was indeed a human error and that the Brake had simply failed to be engaged... WHy the F would the RIU lie about something so minor? Protecting their 'mates' on the Starting stalls perhaps...not wanting to embarrass the Racing Industry? Who knows..but it shows what type of culture the RIU are fostering under their present management... The Ross Neal 'affair' is another case...ably assisted by a current Stipendiary Steward who helped Neal hide the truth... Prima facie proven... the RIU LIE

And Chips isn't too confident either.... Catalyst is probably the biggest Lay since Marta Harri's titanic exploits... ...any 'punter' who prices these two the same has rocks in their head... AB will be on and off the whole trip while C reefs and pulls his head off out the back... ...lacking concentration without the hood on... Champion Australian jockey Damian Lane uttered the words Kiwi trainer Clayton Chipperfield wanted to hear after his first ride on Catalyst yesterday. "He is ready," said Lane. Not that Lane got to give the Te Awamutu superstar his head during a controlled track gallop at Morning-ton yesterday. This was more about getting to know each other. But Lane liked what he felt and Chipperfield has liked what he has seen since Catalyst arrived in Victoria on Sunday night. "It is like he has never left home," says Chipperfield from the property of fellow New Zealand jumps jockey Brett Scott. ADVERTISEMENT Advertise with NZME. "He travelled like an old pro, left two handfuls of feed the first night and has eaten everything in sight since." But as happy as Catalyst seems starting his three-race campaign in the A$160,000 C S Hayes Stakes at Flemington on Saturday it is still satisfying to hear Australia's most dynamic jockey of the last 12 months give him the thumbs up. Lane won't even be riding the gelding on Saturday. He is suspended and will pair with him for the first in full flight in the A$1 million Australian Guineas on February 29. But yesterday's easy work over 1200m will have whetted his appetite. "We weren't there to do too much so he just went half pace for the first 600m, then a bit quicker and Damian let him come home in 39 seconds for the final 600m but he was jogging. "The track had a good sole of grass, like a dead5 at home but there is a bit of a rise up the straight so I didn't want him going any quicker. "I wanted to know a bit more so I asked him, is he was ready for Saturday? ADVERTISEMENT Advertise with NZME. "And he said he is." One of the great things about training a horse like Catalyst, who has won six of seven including the 2000 Guineas, is you never have to worry about finding a top replacement rider when your first choice gets suspended. James McDonald is about as good as replacements come in this part of the world. Or any part of the world for that matter. McDonald will need to be to overcome the outside barrier of eight on Saturday, with key rival and favourite Alligator Blood drawn the ace at the tricky 1400m Flemington start. Saturday's race pales stakes-wise with the Guineas and then the even loftier target of the A$5 million All Star Mile at Caulfield on March 14 so Chipperfield knows maintaining their winning streak is not the end of the world. "Barrier eight might not sound great but I'd rather be there than barrier one," Chipperfield told the Herald yesterday. "As we all know he can be a bit slow away and that could put him back on the inside from the ace. "I would have liked four or five but we have eight and that could make it tough. "There is no point me giving James instructions so he will ride him how he sees it but it looks like Alligator Blood could lead and get his own way. "So this could be a really hard race for us to win. I'd love to win it but if it doesn't pan out that way I'll be happy if we leave Flemington on Saturday night knowing we have a horse who is competitive." Because of the draw, Catalyst is the $2.40 second favourite behind Alligator Blood at $2.20 with the NZ TAB. Although the barrier draw for Saturday is hardly ideal some other numbers are falling Catalyst's way as he sits fifth in the voting for the All Star Mile, with 4694 last night. That puts him him more than 1200 votes ahead last ranked of the 10 horses guaranteed a start when the public vote closes on Sunday although voting tends to step up in the last few days so Kiwis who haven't voted for him yet could still lend a hand. Champion mare Melody Belle, who starts her campaign on Saturday week, is as good as in the All Star Mile field, sitting third with more than 9000 votes.

Let it go koppa...there's nothing to see here...Winn's far too smart to face charges Meanwhile Sly Slymon's lot have actually been charged! Of course Slippery Sly says "nothing to do with us Knats" unbelievable lies
