Can someone explain the logic of this handicap???
Thomass replied to Murray Fish's topic in Galloping Chat
IM not going to read Freda's mind because she'd give me a clip... Suffice to say she's a very intelligent Woman who would obviously agree with moi The Kraka Million is a case in point...the quality produces a G1 type horse...but is only Listed due to the restricted sale She may want that for the Cup... ...but it'd be simply absurd to take up your 'thought' fart -
Good work..you've finally done some 'research'... Old codgers like you feel the need to denigrate tech...because you're afraid of it and want to hide behind smack talk.... Keep up...the Pen's are calibrated to each track so no diff... wrt to "you can't work out" Ive already told you...go back and re read But it has to do with %'s...just like 'form analysis'....ffs As for slight and greater differences... Its for the punter to decide...any information that provides Punters with greater clarity stalls any poor ignorami from going to Bet Sports... ...but is it any wonder with this on offer?

Freda's her own woman... ...but she said "Handicaps shouldn't be G1... Shed also think it absurd the Cup shouldn't have BT though -

How absurd....but you do that well Of course BT in the Melbourne Cup isn't ignored... Almost all horses in the Cup have SW Black Type coming through to their now Everest... And INTERNATIONAL to boot Its yet another clanger you've dreamt up...hilarious though -

What nonsense... Of course it has "credence"...Black Type stands out like a beacon..even for Magoos like you Buyers simply peruse the Catologue and take each BP at face value... Knowing Australiasian norms... Im sorry you still can't understand the Mare's 2kgs... It been explained ad nauseam...even sandpiper gets it -
The new tech is called the 'Going Stick'... Each reading taken is automatically recorded and can easily be downloaded to a website... ...just as the Breeders Cup Committee did.... The off rail at Awapuni would have shown a difference on the rail cf the middle... Its that simple... Why can't you get your noggin around this?? Obviously Punters can "predict, control and measure" this information to a certain % of chance... ...just as they do in analysing overall Form... Metro Courses in Australia do it now with a colour coded guide.... Now please..just stop your nonsense

You're right...Nothing Im talking about the Catologue.... Some of the best Handicappers and WFA performers come from around the World... ...and there's no Black Type? Imagine a Mare winning from the top of the Handicap... ..it's comparable to an extraordinary performance in a SW race... ...where buyers usually know the 'Form' -
Can't you read? THE LAST 4 RACES TIPPED 2 Tris, a Q and WINNER... ALL IN ONE SELECTION 170,000/1 ALL BP

It's accepted Australasian practice.... International yearling buyers know the difference... Imagine the iconic Melbourne Cup recieving NO Black Type? Na...almost nobody can...except you -

Hilarious stuff sandy How on earth does it "help anyone else with an interest in races"?? Who gives a shit if the previous ICONIC Easter and Telegraph HANDICAPS get a warning from the Breeders for a downgrade? Imagine the ICONIC Doncaster/Epsom Handicaps getting the push for some jumped up breeder in Oz? Na...wouldn't happen...only in NZ would it...and it did -

Oh pleeeease... Its VIRTUALLY WFA...but stupider... A horse beaten a nose in a G1 gets ZILCH...the winner 3kg's... ..exactly the same ridiculous 18 month scenario of 1 day So OBVIOUSLY it assists Breeders in providing more opportunities for the best horse to win... ...not a smart Shilling for Jillings type trainer beating the Handicapper ...which is what creates BETTING A Group 1 performing horse on level weights with a duffer Breeders love it -
McGovern sounded mightily miffed having to say "watch ya gates" yesterday... ....but he added a wee "clear" just before that to make sure they were all on the same page... ...when the hopeless RIU had seen enough of the lack of consistency around the country... ...they got all the Starters and their assistants up for a barn dance/piss up and Doughboys 'party'...so they could all say in unison "WATCH YA GATES" Pointless...it's like an Olympic Athletics starter saying "BOO" just as he presses the button... Maybe McGovern...with all of his experience, will insist on having another Starters piss up to change the pointless comment... What many Starters hate is Jockeys anticipating the start...which is what you get if there's old Jack Mudford's call... ..."now I'm ready when you're ready" Which would have saved the day....the other day

How about a FFS? Its the Racing Industry's raisin Dee tear.... If every race was WFA we'd be racing for plastic Cups... Stupidly Ellerslie's Committee thought they'd be smart ass's and changed ICONIC races like the Easter Hcp to SFA Weights Now back to Handicap but losing their precious G1 Who gives a f about that? Oh yea the selfish Breeders... -
Truth. Hurts. Wake up. Your criticism of the Kumara committee says it all Reefer.... It just shows what a dead set gem of an idea De Lore's article about Messara was... ...And Winn getting the idea...after reading said gem... At least De Lore has now got into Pete Vella's ear to tidy up any problems Winn may have with DIA suits... ...petty small town jealousy is partnparcel of the review unfortunately...and Dean McKenzie knows it.. ...just as well he recognises that...and so do other luminaries .. ...from the City
-
He's a 'COASTER'... ...and he knows small town small minded after coming to the City.... One only needs to read Reefer's posts to see that petty small town parochialism is alive and well... They've got too much time on their hands... ...flogging Jade, stealing White Gold from neighbours nets and selling Gunja to the City boys....

This was AFTER the Assistant should have given the all clear...but as we know.... ...and obviously highlighted MANY times here...they're a LAW UNTO THEMSELVES.... ...the Starter was about to push the button and the horse reared... ...he doesn't have to wait to get another all clear...ok? How he could mistake a calm "ok" with an agitated "NO" is probably due to his shocking hearing...but more likely due to his 'don't give a f'... Good starters position themselves in front of the stalls... ...so they can see and HEAR WTF is going on Hence HEARING and EYESIGHT testing for Starters should be mandatory once a year... How old is Tony McGovern...70? He needs to be tested BEFORE he takes over

Fair suk mate..wtf do you waste my time so often?? It depends on what the Pen. Reading indicates of course... That meeting may have been on fresh ground for a Stakes Race?? This is just such basic shit... And why the Breeders Cup Committee decided to provide readings for their Premier meeting... ...we now have 6 Courses with EXACTLY this tech... Just provide PUNTERS with this info Whats so hard about that?

WTF do you mean? Ive always found out FACTS...mainly by subterfuge due to the FACT quite a number in this industry LIE... ESPECIALLY the RIU... Previously in this thread the FACT that the Waikato Barrier moved because the Starting Crew FAILED to pull the Handbreak on.. The RIU report told a bunch of LIES to protect their mates "The Barrier stalls moved due to a mechanical malfunction" 100 % LIE And HARRISON's shocking hearing...where he should have been immediately sent for testing The Starter Mr Harrison was asked by the Chair if he had had any observation of the incident in question. He responded by saying that Ms Smyth did call out and that he thought she had said that she was ready. He said that after seeing the films it was obvious that she was not. Stipendiary Steward Mr Robinson was present at the start and standing very close to stall no. 1. He said that he heard Ms Smyth say very clearly that she did not have her foot in the iron. He said that the start was then made and he observed that Ms Smyth did not have her left foot in the iron and that as her horse left its barrier stall Ms Smyth made contact with the side of the stall and fell from her mount.

I'm sorry our education system failed you in the wop wops... I'll cut to the chase so even an imbecile can understand... A Jock drawn on the rails in an H11 Whanganui bog hasn't got a gyrocopter rotor on his helmet to make a mid race move over to the 2/3width fast lane...ok... ...the other Jocks are already over there This applies to every other track which is 'OFF' on the rail as well... ipso f in facto... ...unless a Jock gets real lucky...their chances are correspondingly DECREASED and there's no correlation with finding 'Value' 'investing' on your advice to back rails runners... ... a 'punter' who wants to encourage such an 'investment strategy' is pulling the pud ....and wanting to make a profit from someone else's misfortune is disgraceful fraudulent behaviour...as is Fake News You're a Fake

What a ridiculous argument...but you make plenty of stupid statements THe SW&F All penalty Races were adopted to appease the deniers aka 'Breeders' that we have far too many Black Type races run beyond the appropriate international level... ...at the expense of Handicap racing...which encourages higher levels of wagering... ...so NZTR bent over and asked what more they could do to help.... ...So against the Handicapping report...they also rubber stamped Maiden races as SW... ...when Handicap races are where it's at to encourage Wagering...dickheads -
Good to see the Country folk can't escape City reality reefer ...did you have to do any 'licking' to make sure you weren't surreptitiously hiding a bit of electrified puha behind the left crown jewel? BTW your Cuzzie Mick City Slicker Guerin absolutely gave it to you Coasters and their small minded, small town behaviour wrt 'working together' on TFC the other day... The small town small minded attitude isn't unique to the Coast in reality though... Just look to Avondale...old timers living in the past and in denial...

Go away...Baldrick you is

The Starter had clearly been having hearing issues... ..as evidenced with the example I gave previously when ex Jock now Stipe Robinson clearly heard the Jock saying " ...NO I'm not ready" Wherupon Harrison released them and the Jock promptly fell off...luckily not injured EVERY Starter should be Auditored and Hearing and Eye exams carried out... New tech is easily available with hands free Comms... ...but Gripper had become used to doing it his way and against the Manual ...if he'd have even bothered to look for Scooter...without being able to hear... ..he would have seen him just releasing the Red Hooded Mare standing out like a flashing light... But he chose the lying root again and told Guerin the hood was off... ...which Guerin swollowed whole BTW "Japs" is extremely racist

Oh my...Why the f do I bother? Its a simple as identifying a Soft track runner and how a Firm track MAY not suit it The same for a midfield/ back runner having to snag back and go around the entire field at Whanganui.. ...when the outside 2/3 widths are already blocked Obviously it's not 100% certain that will happen but Punters are entitled to know so they can adjust % chance ffs....basic 101 shit this Methinks you just like arguing for the f In sake of it
