A few months? Full 19/20 Season in partnership with cran, half this season, plus a decent amount of time before that working for Kentuckiana. He's young and it's a very exciting opportunity for not only Nathan but also his partner Mikayla who is a Junior Driver and will no doubt get more opportunities in Australia with the way their concession claims are done. I personally don't blame him for jumping at a opportunity overseas, new adventure and the Victorian Harness Racing Scene is going quite well at the moment, has great marketing and promotional. Infact HRV Marketing & Promotions, lead by Cody Winnell are the leaders in that area when comparing it to all other states in Aus and what we do in NZ. Emma Stewart, Victoria's leading trainer is taking a wee bit of a step back from Harness and moving into Thoroughbred pretraining, and I'd say Nathan, along with Marks advice has seen there appears to be a gap in the Victoria market and probably some of Mark's Aus based owners too. It's a shame for our code to lose Nathan, as it is if we lose any young person overseas or out of the game, we're starting to see good progress in the NZ Harness Scene with content and coverage etc. Here's hoping it continues to improve and we can offer an attractive industry here which doesn't have some of our brightest stars looking overseas for options.

The horse wears Fixed Deafeners - meaning that hood is under the bridle and unable to be pulled. That gear suggestions it might be a horse that can get wound up easily and maybe also can be a bit unruly - some Auckland Reactors have that in them which stems from AR being by Mach Three who were known to get a bit hot headed.

Please respond to Stewards requests at all times.

You seem to assume a lot of things. The rules of Racing seems to be interpreted differently in the North compared to the South. You only have to check the South Island Reports to see that Stewards will follow up with Trainers over the coming downs re performances etc. Personally i thought it was harsh, you can assume what you want, but next time put your name to it. -

Further more, Fabrizio was a 2 length winner in Heat 2 of the Pukekohe Workouts, a little over 15hours after the run at Auckland in question. He showed good manners and clearly the gear alterations made by Mr N Purdon were seen to work as he beat a handy field in a nice time. On the same day, Friday 4th September, there was also two Qualifying Trials at Pukekohe, which means a RIU Steward would have been on course that day, yet by what I've read from the JCA report, no one directed that Steward to catch up with Mr Purdon or in fact watch the horse in his workout? Very harsh to fine a young trainer basically half a weeks wages for this. -
SA is a superstar! Mark's had the big wrap on him for a while now, Lazarus was the last horse that i personally saw Mark talk so highly of. Hope you didn't have to search the bin for your multi tickets after throwing them away like the fella i witnessed do exactly that haha

What you won't know is that Matthew Peden goes on air on his spare time - he's not paid for doing that, purely does it because he loves Harness Racing and wants to see us prosper. He's not their spokesperson, he does it because he wants to help out our code and from the markets I've watched, there seems to be some good money being invested after Matt's comments come on the TV He's a pricer at the TAB - he doesn't trade the markets, so he's not the person you need to be complaining to/about re getting a bet on. He's just another person in the game doing stuff purely for the love of the game, without getting paid for it.

This week's show for you all to enjoy -
Personally I think I’d rather see this race above, then All Stars being allowed to spread these maidens across a range of maiden fields and starting under $1.50 whilst beating up lowly rated maidens. Regardless of this field only have two trainers, it will still have a favourite in the sweet spot of $2.20-2.60 and is a leg of the early quaddie.

Unhobbled, Unbridled, Unbiased. We'll take on things that are going on and that we're able to talk about. Matt mentioned suppression orders etc. At the end of the day we're two big racing fans who aren't prepared to lay around and complain, we'll show our passion, try drive turnover and try drive all other sections of racing. I'm having a heap of fun so far, so is Matt, viewership is growing every day - first episode about 5200 views, second one got about 5900 and the third one has just ticked over 6000 views which is pretty exciting! As for being on HRNZ - i'm happy with the current set up - we're not attached to anyone which gives us a lot of freedom in our show to talk issues. -

Hi Happy, i believe Craig and Michael are being paid for their work for HRNZ. Here are the links to our show Behind The Tapes - Matt Markham and I - Averaging over 5000 views for each show so far. Hope you have the time to sit down and watch. We welcome any feedback. With Auckland/Cambridge on Wednesdays - Our show will be out on Tuesday nights for anyone interested in watching weekly. We're not attached to anyone, just simply trying to drive turnover and give fans of Harness Racing something to watch that keeps them up to date. Tipping a few winners along the way and having a bit of fun. As you'll see we're not scared to voice our opinion on important issues - Unhobbled, Unbridled, Unbiased Thanks Andrew Fitzgerald Episode One - Episode Two - Episode Three - -

Hi Globe. No involvement now - currently updating the CV and putting my best suit on to go knock on everyone's door. Fingers crossed aye. Cheers Andrew

The new TABForm name was to try and stop confusion between the new trottech etc. The Racing board organise the TABForm comments / people - it just all depends on how quick they do their comments i would suggest as to how fast they are up. Trottech was an HRNZ concept - cost cutting with The Shark providing similar information. Always loved tipping horses since a young age - my number one role here was to give some more in depth information that would hopefully help punters punt with a bit more confidence or even better, get someone to punt on harness that doesn't usually. I'm not sure of the complete details around the Shark.

Congratulations mate - as I said on the day it took balls to have 8.5 on him and you deserved the win. We finished 4th, with just under 10k on Cruz we thought we were in the running but as we said coming into the last there was so much profit money rolling around that the only possible way we could hold onto our lead was if the top three favs run in the money. Ah well all great fun and was get to see so much profit made Brodie - The TAB basically opened up the fixed odds and would accept any bet during the day especially towards the end - in the room with around 40 teams we turned over just under 400k. Great day had by all. Cheers Andrew - Off N Racing 4th Place ??

Hello Happy Sunrise. Andrew Fitzgerald here. TABForm & Trottech are two different things. TABForm is the comments for each horse/ that persons top four picks. This information I believe is provided by the RacingBoard and a few different people do it for each region. I do not have anything to do with TABForm. Trottech was a tipsheet that was put out on the morning of every race meeting via the HRNZ site. A ridiculous amount of hours went into producing each meeting, as you can imagine it is a large task trying to keep your eye on everything happening around NZ. I feel from the response we got about Trottech that we did a good job and found plenty of winners. I know it definitely drove turnover as I've had plenty of people message me saying they had a crack on the harness after seeing my sheet. I liked having our sheet come out as close to race day as possible so I could factor in everything including the weather. Unfortunately Trottech is no longer as The TAB Shark provides similar information and that's what you'll see from now on. Any questions feel free to yell out Thanks Andrew
