Both dogs going well since.... Famous Lee huge today!

Could not agree more! Showed so much heart and determination each time, you're right, the complete package! All the best to him! Was a joy!
-
Very sad to see him pull up the way he did, devastating to say the least... after everything he had achieved, was there really a need to bring him back?
-
Deepest sympathy to all of Mike's family. He was a true champion of greyhound racing and will be missed far and wide!

Not a parasite at all buddy, moreso, a little peeved at the way you go around trashing other people when you are no Saint yourself. I don't need to name myself mate, have been long from the game so I doubt many of the participants will remember who I am. Still an enthusiast of the sport I once loved dearly, but not a fan of the constant dribble you allow yourself to communicate through these forums. No need to call you Clarkie, I have nothing to defend mate. We were shit on and a lot of moons have passed since. Genuinely wish you all the best but also really wish you would get on it and stop allowing yourself the time and energy used to come on here and spread rubbish son.
-
Clarkie, you are someone who the game can also do without and one we have not missed. In the many years you were in the game, what are some positives you attributed to the industry? I can personally name a few negatives with no positives springing to mind. My reply comes a month to the day that you last posted here but wtf are you on? You are an old man crying out for a hug. Get over yourself, get over the rubbishing everyone else's back yard when yours is just as bad if not worse. I will give you this, you presented your dogs in tip top condition but you were the shadiest person we ever had the not so privilege of dealing with. Move on son.

Good ole Mehe. Exactly that, "Meh". As for my opinion, regardless of whether it was asked for or not lol with no disrespect to Roso for the unforgettable, countless amount of hours and passion he has dedicated to NZ greyhound racing over the many years, he should not be calling the races. As an analyst, currently, there is nobody that can compete with the information that he supplies, however, when it comes to commentating, I'm sorry, but it is not good at all. There is no enjoyment in listening to it, I've resulted to muting the tv and just watching. There are so many young ones waiting for an opportunity and it's unfortunate that they will not get to show case their talents any time soon. Rather than worry about those others, I think he needs to move on too. Regards.

I was watching Dogzone the other night when they were discussing this and what a croc of shit.. I have to apologize for the tone of my comments but it is difficult to sit back and watch the hosts 'kiss arsing' a certain kennel the way they did on this week's episode. Rules are rules. I am glad Uthor Bale got kicked out, failing to pursue is FAILING TO PURSUE. It might look harsh.. Regardless of going on to win by 5L. For an instance, he turned his head - you're gone. Just imagine how bad it could've been.. In regards to how they selected the runners after the abandonment of one of the heats is beyond me. I 100% agree with Aquaman. That has happened in the past many times where the heat was run after the last. This should of been the case again, how were those particular greyhounds selected over others in the field? Like racinggreys mentioned above this post, a dangerous precedent has been set! There is no doubt in my mind, I class Dyna Dave as probably one of the best to come across is recent times, love the dog and he is probably the most deserving greyhound in the country to notch up a Group 1 but to go about it in ways which raise eyebrows is very dangerous from a professional point of view.

Couldn't agree more Chief! Rogerson is past his best, with all due respect. Have admired him for many years but just too much going around now and every time they win a race, "I hold this filly in high regards" or "one of the best I've trained" ... Roger James would be perfect, even so, I though young MacKay was doing a great job as well. Surely deserves due credit!

If I was referring to you Mehe, you would know mate. Cheers

I can't agree with a lot of what has been posted here.. I was not a fan of A. Speight at all because of her supremacist views, however, in terms of her and the welfare of her dogs, she treated them a lot better than most. Race days and trial days they always looked clean, happy and well. I think it's a terrible state of affairs when you continue to dog someone who has not been apart of GRNZ for a long period of time and also who hasn't even been in the country. You come across as the jealous ex BF (or BFs) who cannot seem to get over her. Move on with your lives folks, there are far better things to dedicate your time to.

HAHA! too true Devito! Got a couple in mind but we will see how that plays out... Fully agree! Best person to learn from! I remember Daniel when he was a little boy, following his brother to the track when Josh was only just kenneling dogs for Brendan Cole. To see how he is going from then to now, couldn't wish it on a better person! All the best Daniel, and back to Devito's comment, be careful haha. With great success comes sloppy seconds ?? Don't buy into it (or them)

Have to agree John, Barrell Runner would be any type of good if it would actually chase rather than race... The amount of ground he took off Opawa Toddy and Rivalries (hmm ??), who are both very fast dogs in their own right was huge, absolutely flew to catch up to them but he should've went past... didnt want a bar of winning. Showed the same against Creme Brulee, should've run past, but wouldn't.

Considering most of the posts I have read which are attributed with your "name", unfortunately, your legitimacy is to be questioned... which is why I responded how I did. I'm not here to argue, but it's hard not to when the same users are just out bagging for the sake of bagging.. The worse one is actually the starter of this thread. Like I wrote earlier, save it for something more productive. Happy hump day!

I know of fit, young, healthy men and women who have passed away due to heart attacks as well Cockyaleg. Unfortunately, that's a fate majority of us will meet. But in regards to greyhounds, I have had a dog die walking off the track after running second in a race. Was ruled to be a heart attack... In no way was she introduced to any illegal substances as you may be suggesting, or anything else for that matter. It just happened... However, I don't claim to be very knowledgeable in this area, I was just gifted with a bit of common sense. Regards.

Put the spoons away fellas, save your time and writing skills for more productive posts...

You alright mate? I'm sure one race is not going to deter Team Fahey from the seasons ahead... You do post some good posts mate but this one leaves a sour taste. Not so much because of the "protected species" being pick out but because you've set them up to be picked on.
-
Jingos mate, not the 3 sleeps until Christmas... give it a rest

Get a grip. I would love to not only have a connection to Sheza Rippa, but to The Fahey team in general. They are just champion trainers, regardless of who is involved within the caucus of a higher forum... I don't remember her hitting the rail, or wandering off, but I do remember her being very fast right from the get go... As for the qualy trial, Opawa Light is a very fast dog in her own right. On her day, she can run fast opening sectionals over 520. For us to expect Sheza Rippa to come off a spell and then run 17 flat straight away is a bit much in my opinion. Some dogs do, some don't, but she is a very classy bitch and last night showed that, again... She was a fast bitch before ____ became a member of the board. Get over it. Are you posting to just rark people off? Save it for something productive.

I doubt he is sad. Whether he is on course or in different cities, he is continuing to dominate the CD... I doubt highly, that whatever we post online has little to no affect on him and the Cole operation. Over 50k in stakes per week, which doesn't even include his punting returns, I'm sure we are still nobodies to him. Laugh all we want, he's laughing all the way to the bank..
-
I don't think we are Mehe. Maybe you are reading it that way... She's the strike rate trainer most years for a reason, the dogs are in top condition, inside and out.. Tutu Numara would be a name that springs to mind for me. Plenty of top breeders throughout NZ, however, in recent years, I am very amazed at the operation that Bradshaw/Seque have formed. Wales, Amer, McInerny, Cole (despite current cicrumstances), Harding, Craik, Evans...The list goes on!
-
I couldn't believe the time when I saw the results (as I missed the race).. Watched the replay this morning, and wow. He was dead set flying alright. Karen has her dogs in tip top condition every time, I have to agree! Some of the most best presented athletes I've come across. Well done. What a great litter!

Yeah, for sure Four Shaw, in no way condoning it whatsoever, apologies if my original post was a bit misleading. Not a fan of it. Firstly, let me say that you are correct in implying that the gene of Max Matthews is one of royalty in every respect; attitude, stature - it all. He was a true gentleman and one that I was privileged enough to have crossed paths with on a few occasions. In regards to Sam, I've known Sam for a long time. Glad to have also crossed paths with him too. Working for Cole has no affect on the way I view him. He's treated me well in the past, I have no reason to say otherwise. I've seen him towards others and his dogs, I have no reason to say otherwise. Secondly "long time troll" ? Ha Ha Ha! The first thoughts that come to mind are that you have been in the game for so long, you've been defeated so many times, you have grown old and tired. I get it, you're mad at the current situation that The Cole Saga has placed the greyhound industry in, and rightfully so. I think that everyone in the game has every reason to. The future of Greyhound Racing does not look bright at all given the current circumstances, however, sitting behind your computer blasting out dribble about others because of the depressed state you are in, get a grip mate. Cleanse the soul? Excuse the comparison, but you may as well tell those Priest who've molested innocent children to ask for forgiveness, and it will make it all better again. With all the staff that have already said that they have seen it.... What world do you live in mate? Place your trust in yourself and give your time to doing something productive for the Industry. Shit-bagging is getting us nowhere. We'll continue to wake up day after day and until something is really going to be done to correct and replenish the state of the game, they will continue to win races. It will be a dragged out process, you can guarantee it. As long as the money continues to be cashed in on, this saga will go on for as long as it can. There is no integrity within the NZGRA or GRNZ or whatever you guys have changed to since I've left the industry. There have always been conflicts with Stipes, trainers, track staff etc... Nothing was being done about it then, what will be done to change it now? But I guess, we can start by spitting dribble on this forum... Scott, Rendle now Bausi. Conflict, conflict, conflict.... All the best to the sport!
