  2. Since 2014 and part of the world pool. world pool meeting next month https://www.breednet.com.au/news/34563/world-pool-coming-to-new-zealand
  3. Yep…many do…but tab.com.au do not, as they are partnered with hkjc commingling
  4. Well its commingling into the HK pools. hk dont do fixed odds - its tote only. Except for the jockeys challenge and trainers challenge. case and point there is a scratching in race 5 so a runner has now been promoted into that horsea saddle cloth/barrier and betting is now open in hk
  5. Well if you are a commingling partner with them, eg tab nz, tab aus etc they are hardly going to allow you to bet fixed odds, would be a breach of contract
  6. Former jockey. nz will never have another group 1 3200m race…terrible field
  7. betting on all races in hk only starts midday the day before the meeting. Tote, no fixed odds. I have an account in hk from a previous life, so know how it goes from betting there for many years. group 1 or no group 1, its always the same
  8. Thursday fields are declared…Saturday morning hong kong time the scratchings (day before races) betting opens hk time midday. because if you pay close attention, they have two ballots per race and say if #1 is scratched, the first ballot then becomes numeber 1, with the same barrier draw as the scratched runner
  9. Yes they still bet on HK…results there from Weds night. No fixed odds on HK racing hence you won’t find any of that…they put the fields up on a Saturday normally once the HK scratchings are confirmed the day before racing with how the ballots are over there. They’ll be up later today

  11. They use hawkeye and it would be server based within each broadcast unit
  12. Feel free to email nztr or call the NRB and ask them what the hold up is, rather than moaning about it here
  13. Kurow…would definitely NOT have a high speed fibre link for a once a year track…satellite or Kordia link
  14. Guess it all depends on the trackside crews…a lot of travel for them at this time of the year…especially the southern teams
  15. John is a bitter old Avondale hack

  18. Dumb comment…one of the better CE’s in the game here
  19. He’s done it before…he was a board member of NZB
  20. All worth an absolute fortune
  21. Good bloke, could train
  22. Were you blind? Most of the way 3 wide no cover and pulled
  23. I think it means on the home turn the rail is out further than the listed course, so B course worked back means that turn rail on the home turn might be C coursee but then works back into the B course on straightening. you think of how many meetings they have, the corners would get hacked up so they have to push the rail wider on the bend
