Trackside radio was generally pretty good as a rule.

I notice they have a new station where radio sport was,its basically shit.if trackside was reinstated why not sport commentary as well then you can put some of the races on website but have the main stuff on radio remember the tab are into sports betting too there is very little live sport on radio these days why not some forward thinking?

In the new season addington sunday replaces Southland sunday the whole calander is up the wop but gee who would want the job trying to sort it out based on events of the last month or two?

I had a squiz after xmas,Feb and March,its a good way of filling in the gaps,the geographical situation CD find themselves in mean these are a special case,no Taranaki at all seems a bit odd.

I said that there was little consistency in the manawatu dates 2 day meetings in Nov and dec and nothing more till easter,that's where the mini meetings could be effective I ain't looked to see when they are scheduled,this smartphone squinting is doing my head in lol

Even some of the dates for Manawatu are the same old tuesday thursday ,what's wrong with Wednesday friday ,forbury could have thursday or friday and sunday once a month or something similar there is no consistency in the setup for palmy 2 2 day meets before xmas and nothing again till easter.im done here 4 now ,smartphones starting to piss me off too hard to focus all the time.

When you look at the fields and results from Southland a lot of horses and a lot of winners from Gore area.

It seems that Wyndham and Gore are effectively wiped yet Riverton which was a 1 day club now have 3 or 4 meetings,what's going on here,some serious issues in the grey department.

Forbury have lights but have got the odd day meeting as well,seems they got a lot of those winter meetings,that will get the crowds flocking out to the course lol

No harness racing between Oamaru and Winton,hard to believe really,seems a bit to unrealistic.

So if the codes are in charge then why is harness racing selling itself short here.

It would rude if Forbury was sold and the assets went to the galloping code,that would prove that the harness guys have been taken for a ride.Idoubt that would happen.

I will say that change is good if it's for the better,but some of the ideas floated are simply not.
