I don't know. Pam might but you'd probably be best to ask Tim. He's pretty approachable and straight up.
-
You said he had been doing it for years. I asked where did that happen. You haven't answered that.
-
That's my first post. What the hell is unclear about that? I since answered the question myself from other enquiries and posted that here.

Another Open Letter...from a NZ Racing stakeholder!
curious replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
But there haven't been any significant stakes increases since the 23/24 season, nor are any projected for the next couple of years. That's pretty stagnant in my book. Have you been asleep under a tree? -
Btw, off topic I know, but I've been to the races numerous times in the last couple of years when CW was there and I can't say I ever saw him in the raceday tie-ups. When did that allegedly happen? If it did, then club security and the stipes need a kick up the arse.
-
Nobody except a licence holder can enter the tie-ups on a raceday. That's an entirely different matter to entering leased commercial premises. Owners can enter those by invitation from the tenant. I'm still not sure what your point is. You are the one talking in riddles.
-
I'm not familiar with the law in HK, but I'd certainly not think they could without notice and/or consent of the tenant. Regardless, this is NZ, not HK.
-
So, what is your point? I don't think I get it.
-
So, if I own and lease a property that is say a bar, do you think I should have to have a liquor licence to do so, or the right to enter the premises uninvited and unannounced without the consent of the tenant? It's unconscionable behaviour, probably illegal and certainly beyond the realms of common decency.

Well that post is certainly not accurate. As @Chief Stipe points out, those aren't operating losses, but accounting valuation write downs and I'm not clear what the $100m guarantee they are talking about is. That has already been paid if it's the additional payment due to the online monopoly legislation. I can't really see why Entain would want to exit either market though as mentioned anything could happen. As also mentioned any such transaction is dependent on financial and regulatory conditions being met and we don't really know what is contracted in that regard wrt the NZ situation and I can see why Betr would be interested in exploring the possibility. -
Yes. Multiple leased premises apparently.
-
Yes. Residential tenancy law requires 48 hours written notice with the tenant or representative having the right to be present.

Not a great betting race to me but Daylight Robbery as a 10% chance looks the value if I have a bet.

Disagree. Doesn't formaldehyde become methanediol when dissolved, so forms a new chemical compound? That said, it's beside the point. You are obsessed with a minor technical issue to try and put down the messenger and at the same time ignoring the message. -

But again you are dissing the messenger, not hearing the message. -

At the moment, I think it's the small minority anti-racing brigade, focused on dismissing the messengers and not hearing or acting on the message that are doing the greatest damage. -

Argon and xenon gases have been used as performance enhancers, though their effectiveness remains controversial and they are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). How Xenon and Argon Work as Performance Enhancers Both gases are noble gases, traditionally considered inert, but they have bioactive properties that can influence human physiology: 1. Activation of Hypoxia-Inducible Factor (HIF-1α) Inhalation of xenon or argon can stimulate HIF-1α, a protein that helps the body adapt to low oxygen environments This leads to increased production of erythropoietin (EPO), a hormone that boosts red blood cell formation, enhancing oxygen delivery and endurance 2. Mimicking Altitude Training The physiological effects are similar to training at high altitudes, where oxygen levels are lower. Athletes may use these gases to increase stamina and recovery without needing to relocate or use hypoxic chambers 3. Rapid Clearance, Lasting Effects Xenon and argon clear from the body within hours, but their performance-enhancing effects can last for days, making them attractive for doping Scientific Evidence and Limitations Studies have shown modest increases in EPO and plasma volume after xenon inhalation, but no consistent improvement in athletic performance The long-term health effects and optimal dosing protocols remain unclear or unproven. Regulatory Status WADA banned xenon and argon in 2014, classifying them as performance-enhancing drugs due to their ability to artificially boost oxygen-carrying capacity Detection is challenging, as the gases are quickly eliminated from the body, and testing relies on indirect markers like HIF-1α or EPO levels. -

AI doesn't agree with you. You are surely being a bit picky about the definition of a derivative? Yes, formalin is a derivative of formaldehyde. What Is Formalin? Formalin is a solution of formaldehyde gas in water, typically containing: 37–40% formaldehyde by weight 6–15% methanol (added to prevent polymerization) The remainder is water
