  1. The Fields are huge for once on Thursday why they ain't racing at Alexandra Park instead Cambridge if this meeting was run there I doubt the field sizes would be the same
  2. There is one huge huge difference.standerbreds are so much more tougher and durable.they train themselves.eg Nora bishop just race them all the time look after them will find form eventually and no training needed.you certainly cannot do that with a thoroughbred.
  3. I agree jack has done well and can do alot better in the future.its just my pet hate that drivers beat other horses at there own expense.you see it most in oz.carter copped it on jack trainers horse on Saturday where the horse that would not let him lead finished well back certainly costing Carter a win.on Olivia Thornley she has got better from her bad start so there is hope and is in the right stable for it.they taught Tim to be one of the best and he must of learned from his errors
  4. I totally agree with what your saying. Some blame must be put on the drivers also as they are trying so hard to get them away first thus causing false starts.france has the same issues with some starters at some outer tracks.ive seen 5+ false starts when everything looks good.there method of stand starts is this the fairest and best.look at France video I put up that's how they do it.
  5. God the NZ tab are bad cheap skates ripping of punters.60/1 9/1 the place on tabcorp.captain ravishing looks better than havefaithinme at the same time.i don't like the driver thou he ain't much chop at all lucky he's got the horse
  6. That's your opinion which is ok by me.i believe that jack didn't finish in the best possible position due to him wanting to beat copy that.jack beat himself and Blair.he was on a sit sprinter not a leader that can do a ton of work.so yes I believe it was a bad drive and there are tons better drivers than him he's just lucky he drives for team McCarthy
  7. Totally agree with you.it has given Gemma a chance to show her talents otherwise she would not have gotten that chance
  8. Nice work😜😛great driver Greg sugars.funny story my best friend Olivia and I were at Melton for a all trotting night and Montes when we where walking around to the stables and Olivia and Greg both weren't watching where they were going and ran into each other luckily she didn't take him out for the night.
  9. Old town road is clearly the best in NZ now.huge huge run driven rough to win race but not in its best pattern.another huge collect with Grimson in a major 60/1 win 9/1 place.these two horses would of won if the winner had to come around instead of that shitty sprint lane.he can thank jack and team has been McCarthy dumb ass drive.ive seen enough of jack he ain't a good driver...
  10. Great training performance and drive by Tim Williams on b d Joe to death seat the trip well rated by tim.it was a good drive on Cranbourne that's how you drive him if he doesn't lead.carter got driven against on jacks horse unlucky not to win and it was a first class drive on republican party but not by the race caller shocking.idiot drive of the week Peter McMullen on sugar n spice.pure and utter idiot.absoulte gassed it no brain at all.beyond stupid.
  11. I totally admire mark Jones as a former driver trainer and gallopers trainer now and as a person.i want him to do well in is pursuits in life so yes all the best to him in training gallopers and at least he got a great loyal stable foreman in Samantha ottley to help run his harness stable.i believe given a chance he will become a great galloper trainer and the money is incomparable.
  12. I can speak first hand as I worked for g a Rogerson at Randwick and was involved in harness stables in sydney in my teens.there is a huge divide as gallopers are so much more fragile highly strung and darn right naughty.gallopers take more care than Standardbreds and need alot more attention.to get the training right with them is much harder than Standardbreds.i worked with million dollar babies at Randwick the Colts were nuts and the nuts were to big and then the fillies were easier to handle around the stable but not after taking them for a swim.minnie me after swimming her basically dragged me back to the stable.if I let go she would of ended up in coogee.the minute I started walking century kid gelding I said to him your a good one AUD $1,314,050 54 starts 10 wins even went to HK and nearly won big one and missed by a nose at Randwick the tj smith group 1 20/1 in today's money would of won 8 million+.it will be very interesting if Mark Purdon trains them I highly doubt it but I'm only guessing
  13. After mark Jones big win with Phelan the power gallops on the weekend maybe he should give the horses to him to train😜😛😝
  14. You kiwis probably don't know this but s.tab is commingled with France tote.im not joking there is over one million in the pool for win and place for Vincennes and half a million for normal meeting.the french sure bet.must be the biggest trotting pools in the world.
  15. Yes as shes worked for him for years as one of his main track workers.they certainly ain't the all stars anymore.its well and truly the end of them.they mark and Nat have basically retired.if you think Olivia is even a good driver have a hard look at yourself.she is pathetic and will never ever make it as a driver...she's well and truly proved that.from pathetic beginnings to a pathetic end.back her at your lose for sure.to even think she has the same driving ability as the best jnrs is laughable and then the snrs she don't stand a chance.lucky she works for Nathan Purdon now.gemma Thorley has shown she's a better driver with less opportunities and have not ritten her off like Olivia.it must be her fourth or fifth year as a jnr and I cannot recall any good drives only bad shocking and pathetic
  16. Here is a young kid that's on the rise.hes always not afraid to try his best to get the best out of his horses he drives from the beginning.he has nothing but improved as a driver.his drive on anditover was a beautiful drive unlucky to lose and the young kid produced a bolter on safrakova today at 17/1.hes with out a doubt one of the best jnrs around.on the other hand Olivia Thornley is useless driver who hasn't improved much from her beyond pathetic beginnings.well done Zev and keep improving your already great skills.i hope you make it as a driver keep up the great work.to drive great against team Butcher is not easy.
  17. Warloch is a older horse now thus why the inconsistency.house has done a fantastic job to get it to peak in between all the bad runs.it cost me a fortune when it won at Kaikoura but hats off to house for getting it to run so well.when they are at 20/1+ and they can win on there best form I don't see any reason not to back then.ive always followed this a a rule.
  18. Frances best driver trainer wins Frances biggest race with a leg in the air.this is the trainer that I've said Marcoola should of went to as I'm sure he would of won group races in the Montes he was so well suited with his style of racing pity that they had there heads in the sand and the horse is worthless compared to what it could of been worth and the prize money it would of won Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4 Screenrecorder-20230130-024934.mp4
  19. They should run for govt with there track record.i miss winning bucket loads on saleish and that track with the horrible crossing at the 600m mark
  20. Warloch was racing the best the north had to offer when he was up there from memory.its very obvious m house has become a better trainer but the horses do run hugely different one run to another.he is getting better at making them race at there best.prime example is break free who has won alot of races after being a thirty start maiden.i told Mark Jones when it was a thirty start maiden he should train it as he would win at least four races with it and m house has won 8 from memory
  21. Hi I looked around for the same stats profile for the Falcon strike unable to find anything similar as that's good what you did can you please do the same for the Falcon strike
  22. Great training performance to win again at 50/1 just like it's last win at Kaikoura in the big sales race.its always had a big last half in it in a fast run race.it did race very consistently at Auckland
  23. The two big races in WA always brings back memories of the best stayer I've seen there who could death seat the whole trip and still wIn THE FALCON STRIKE.one of my all time favorites.i remember putting the lot on him on new year's night and he duly delivered in the big race.even had the looks just like terror to love.
  24. Very easy win due to great drive on the goat track of goat tracks Diego congratulations on your great driving recently and training too kim.very well done to Jonny Cox on peaking folklore to win group 2 mares race.i backed it last start at Ascot park and thought it had improvement in it from that great run and it got it run to suit at Addington and blew them away at 41/1 well done and thank you.
  25. Did you watch Gregs interview with Dexter on box seat recently?it may not be long before Carter joins Dexter over there in the future.dexter cleared 1 million last season after tax and who knows how much slings he got on top.why bother even planning a future in Australasia when you can make so much money in north America if you can survive the daily mass shootings
