I agree that trainers go thru good and bad patches, but when they struggle to win at Forbury or the likes, it’s a little concerning.

Max Millar also trained up there. Had good trotter Westham, also had others, just can’t remember names

A guy Fox trained a horse called Dutchy in the 80s. Didnt get to open class, but won 7 or 8 I think.

Like these 2 for multi, Horse of course , R1, $3.40 to win, which I think is great money after last weeks run. I’m sure it will pay less on the tote. Glenissbetter at $3.60 to place R9.

Ok, How about this. We all want the industry to be on a level playing field. Every week we are advised of gear changes for horses, advised if a driver is going to drive without a whip, advised if a horse is to be driven differently, then trainers & drivers are questioned regarding some horses performance. Well, I agree with all this, So why can’t the industry provide details when certain stables are doing this, and other drugs? Why not, I’m sure owners are forking out big dough for stuff, that’s not even improving horses, and punters need to know when trainers are trying their hardest, which is not all the time.
