  1. WTF? Horse looked like a cripple 400m out, then run home in quick half. Once again, hot fav gives stablemate lead, punters get fucked over again. Tim Williams, please explain why you didnt give horse best chance to win. Its a joke. Once again i have advice for anyone betting on purdon runners. FFS, dont bet unless the money is up. Otherwise , you will get screwed again and again
  2. Yeah, come on Ross Burgham, dont be a tosser. Leave Emily alone
  3. Same on most nz tracks now, reason most punters bet on aus races, exception ted and barry
  4. Me thinks hunter and boobs get a room?
  5. Only 2 favs won yesterday at caulfield? Maybe you didnt bother to watch the superb racing on offer. If nz tab didnt have sports betting and aus racing, would be far worse off than what they are now. As i have stated, not a labour supporter, just far more open. I find politics hilarious, people are so one sided, yet cant really tell me what National did so special for 9 years. Labour supporters would struggle to do same
  6. So, are you sitting on the fence again? So its ok for those on high incomes getting huge pay rises, but those lower or middle workers pay cant even keep up with inflation?
  7. You should try and watch replay from Caulfield yesterday, fantastic. Good on you for your loyalty to nz racing thou, but not many agree with you any more.
  8. I agree that labours benefit system needs a bloody good look at, that is a disgrace. But as far as wages go, national did nothing in those 9yrs, upping the min wage by 50c per hour every now and then was a joke, to have so many health workers that had not had a pay rise for years was a joke. Teachers, Police etc as well, most that you depend on struggling to get extra dollars. At least those in charge now said no to pay rise, not like nats that pushed for as much as they could. For National to return to power, get rid of the leader, and the other old farts, because like it or not, jacinda is very well liked, all around the world. John Key was popular too,
  9. This may surprise you, but i am not a real labour supporter. But before we discuss what labour is doing wrong, can anyone tell me what the best, say 5 things that National did in the previous 9 years. Hope the flag does not feature?
  10. Just goes to show you what they think of that National leader. Would be helpful if he could string a sentance clearly together, he is a moron, jacinda will be pissing herself. National made so much money from the chch earthquakes, booming auckland market that they could not go wrong. Brownlee lied so much to chch people, so many were told to leave red zone and take up government offer, as no services would be available, bullshit.
  11. Yeah, look weasel. Yes, she won well done. But the field was so poor, and given every chance to win. Some races that were won at Caulfield yesterday was amazing, that is the difference. Even Leos horse won, so just shows what a pack of hacks were racing in that field, even silly old Leo wouldnt take that slug to aus, be gasping half way thru race. Only hype in nz racing last year was a grey jumper that has about 1000 owners? Let us know when a bonecrusher, grey way or mcginty type starts to race in nz.
  12. Yep, stable had great night. Big races, money up, horses race far better.
  13. Tell us the oil mate
  14. Yeah, its actually now 4 from 4. Been a while since i have seen a horse race 3 wide on pace, sprint clear to beat fav easily
  15. Seems they dominate 2yo races, but they dont seem to dominate 3yo and 4yo races like they did. Maybe the blood thing is doing no good to older nags
  16. Beyond The Fort, came from well back, didnt look to handle ground, but still won, thats 2 from 2. Good future ahead. Vin De Dance, 3 wide mostly, good hard fought win. Rider didnt panic either. Nothing really exciting on the nz scene to be honest. BUT, CAULFIELD!! Global Exchange, a massive run to win. Fantastic, real wide around turn, but stormed home. Terbium, 3 from 3 after being 3 wide and booting clear turning for home. That aussie racing huge
  17. Well, No Mark or Nat driving today, no big money up, so no surprises to see first two favs beaten. Probably win saplings, worth $30k and they have 3 runners, so would be surprise if stable didnt win race. But maybe you will find not the favoured runner will win. They have Cheerful out later, another fav, but you wouldnt take those odds.
  18. Good post The Galah, Seems many want to convince themselve that nothing will come out of all this. Many will get off with a slap on the hand, mainly the drug offences. Some will be charged being part of a group that knew what was going on, but probably wont effect their lives too much. Then, there are those involved. Lets face it, their careers will be effected, and rightly so.
  19. No person on wages need to pay any tosser accountants to do their returns, it is simple. As for wahoo and the likes, IRD should have stopped these companies from fleecing workers, mind you accountants do the same. As i have stated, accountants are a dying breed, useless pricks
  20. Its funny how we all have fav horses. I can remember always betting on take aim and take care. Take aim won once in nth island, paid over $20, had $25 to win on it, 3 weeks wages at the time. Got a few bucks of double and concession. Toshack and tussock another couple i loved.
  21. Watched a programme on tv over Xmas, stated many accountants will be out of work in the future due to a more user friendly tax system. I see Wahoo has laid off heaps of staff now that IRD has decided to make it easier for most to do their own returns. Good riddence i say, it was a joke all these companies popping up, making money little.
  22. I suppose the way i look at is is this. Somebody works hard, sometimes two jobs, puts money in the bank and is taxed on interest. Somebody sells rental, makes a dollar, pays nothing?? Come on
  23. I do not agree with most of this report, but i do not see any reason why those making heaps off rentals should not pay tax where required.
  24. Well, Looked like it was just out for a run today, no chance the way it was driven, in fact did very well for 3rd. $2 Fav, poor old punters get screwed again, maybe connections should have told stipes that they intended to settle last, just run home to be close up. No doubt big race coming up, May back on, will be in lead or parked, or very handy a lap out. One reason i only bet mostly now in the big races, when the money is up, they all try.
  25. Great to have Brad on this site, good info. Is It Brad Reid, who also writes harness articles?
