  1. Lightworkofit, for the 5th time in a row galloped hopelessly, very erratic. Yet, only a warning? Come on,
  2. Well, Another day of crap punting. Poor old Kardesler had no show, carried back, only battled for 4th. Oh well, i think i need a few days off, my little brain is fried ??
  3. Was at a CHCH tab this morning, which is something i hardly do, in fact i was only in there to deposit a gift voucher in a family members tab account. While waiting, a trackside presenter mentioned a special bet the tab were running, John Dunn to drive a certain amount of winners for the day. A couple of older gents mentioned loudly, and not as polite, with the allegations recently, could they not find another driver for this special bet?? I sort of thought the same, but walked out without saying anything. What do others think?
  4. You may be right, not much luck lately
  5. Thought same mate, only had small each way bet, only because i know that the horse is limited in ability. Good enough to win a few if driven by proper driver, but not this fella. Mind you, at least he is consistent, 7th time parked in last 11 starts? That must be a record surely.
  6. Yeah, Dont stop till you get enough!!? Foreigner must go close, 2nd behind a good one on the grass recently. Kardesler at $10 fixed, last run was bloody huge. Mclovin, have noticed in the past, horse needs a few runs before it shows its best, maybe stompem in last also. I am wary punting at the moment
  7. Well, Surely i am due a big day at Mot! Lets post our best for the day. Good luck
  8. Well done this young man. Big effort to train and drive winners on the 2 day Westport track. Really did put his horses in the race early, which you have to do on that track. Judged the pace very well.
  9. Makes sense. Had a few mates driving from Dunedin to CHCH today. About 10 of them, 2 of them are punters, but the rest dont. I told them to stop in at Timaru races on way up, which they did. Only arrived for last 3 races, but were told it was still $10 entry each?? They didnt care, just went to pub, didnt have a bet. Crazy that clubs still charge entry fee so late in the day, they should be trying to entice anyone
  10. Yeah fair call. Mrs not keen on my gardening either!! Was busy all day, just looked at Astuto race, christ he had easy lead, stopped as if shot.??. I reckon over the 2 days, only about 7 horses didnt lead when they won. Think i bet on the leader of those 7 races!!
  11. Anyone want their gardening done over the holidays! ??
  12. What after a crappy nites sleep..,i have decided i must bet there again!! A good mate suggested i have a bet in r2 Wilson st. Seems it is very good, so will pick it to beat fav. I have seen it at trials, begins well. Hope runner should win first, will back up on Astuto, midfrew tarpadiem, the bloss who had no luck first day, and Apocalypse. Good luck all, i do not think we will see so many leaders dominate today, most have had their soft run.
  13. Thought it would win first day, but had every chance. In fact, didnt bet on it at short price. Main reason i reckon it started so hot, connections. Everyone loves Reedy, everyone was talking it up. Be careful at short odds again. As for Astuto, not sure. Went so poorly, can not see it getting as good a run, so going tobe tough. In fact, i think i wont have bet at westport, will have a go at Mot sat.
  14. Ok, Thanks.
  15. Anyone able to help me with this, Just say i have a free $100 bonus bet to use at Beteasy, i place a fixed bet on a horse at $10, for a return of $900. Two days later I find horse paying quite less on betfair, so i would like to lay at the $5-80 odds. What is the best way to work out odds so i have a return if horse wins or not. Honest question, i do not lay much on betfair. Ta
  16. Wow, it found the lead early but was gone a long way from home. Likely to keep to mile racing me thinks
  17. Have noticed over the years at westport, some go crap first day, bolt in 2nd day. Who knows, could be travel sickness
  18. Yeah, good start but that Astuto just killed me!! Perfect run, counting my dough 600m out. Must be the only horse that faded frim trail all day. Oh well,
  19. Battled away, but how impressive was the winner. Killed them
  20. Track seems pretty good considering. Who is the girl talking about horses in birdcage? Thought i heard it was Alysha Collett? Gee, she could get a little more excited whoever she is. I am struggling as it is after xmas without that.
  21. That Astuto, i have good vibes about it, think its going to be lucky day. Mind you, i am due!! Been a lean last 3 weeks
  22. By all acounts, begins fast and has worked in grass. As you say, pretty short, but terrible field.
  23. Merry Xmas too all. Hardly feels like this site has only been operating for several months, great to see more new posters too.
  24. Postman likes The Bloss, Happy likes Prince Teka, quite like both too, hope my luck lately does not stop then for you boys. R1- 2 Nanelle Franco, should be too good for these. R2-5, Ford Rule, Very short odds but will be surprised if beaten. R4- The 2 Anderson runners worth including. R5- Markham Eyre. Stable thinks a bit of this horse, R8- Apocalypse, has been building nicely, best roughie for me of day. R9-4- Astuto, best bet of the day, get on. Good luck
