Amazing the swings and roundabouts in racing you sell a mare to a stud by their Sire for $4.1m then end up buying her first yearling for $2.1m oh the irony of it all! The TA stable or stud didn't own her. The Syndicate did and the rule of the Syndicate is that she is sold at Auction at the end of her career.
