TAB For Ever
Bluey's Chance went a huge race in Wellington Cup today...a huge 5th ,been placed in it previously. What other horses have travelled so extensively around NZ since Grey Way ? Blueys Chance has raced in many Group races including the big Cups even Auckland and raced in most South Island provinces[ possibly all of them ] plus several in North . What a trooper...he contested in inter-provincial race in Taranaki ,and his next race will be his 100th ! One achievement he has on Grey Way is he has raced , and won on a NZ Synthetic track. Well done to connections for having a crack !
Mardy
Yip Alvin(Bluey's Chance) is definitely well travelled but he is very much well looked after. He actually had to be rushed back to Canterbury after her ran 3rd in the Greymouth Cup a few hours after that as he got a bad case of Colic,so it was very much touch and go. He got thru it and he ran so well today for Kenny and team, and by all reports that was probably his last run. Also a great result for Kenny with his game mare Lady T running 3rd in the Thorndon...huge day.

I bet he trained on the beach too. 1
Shad
Just seems like one of those war horses that just stands up to everything thrown at him, week in week out, tough as teak, and honest to boot, great to see him and his stablemate flying the flag for the south, another very tough horse is emanon, never guilty of a bad race, backs up frequently, she will be a sort after broodmare as many don't realize she's a half to legarto. Also a half to Locally Sauced....also a very tough, sound and genuine bloke who has had a long career.
