muzenza365
I must say what a top ride on Mark Twain by M Dee. At the top of the long straight, he was a 100\1 chance, but Micheal who is a strong left-hand rider pulled the stick into his right hand as he was hanging badly and the response was immediate. He has the ability Mark Twain but is still a work in motion, I do remember when he won at Te Rapa, Masa said he gave him a torrid ride. So kudos to Mick

So kudos to Mick Yes the Mick Dee interview after the race was enlightening. The horse reef's, pulls and hangs during a race. I wonder if they have tried him without blinkers. I saw the whip change too but my thoughts were that when he did that he also whipped less and became more balanced and focused more on hands and heels. The horse then travelled heaps better and Dee noticed that and stuck to keeping himself balanced. Not that I have a clue about riding a horse but I watched Mark Twain closely.

Mark Twain very impressive Legarto hasn't really come up this season, like many of our 3yos over recent years. Seems to have lost some of that brilliance. Still done ok though. Won that $500,000 bonus for placing in a couple of races, and won the Dyke. Probably a safer option than heading to Aussie earlier. Lets hope she bounces back next season. Quite frankly there are very few Jockeys that a Trainer should listen to.
