curious
That's the pre-nom market. The noms have now closed but are unannounced and the market is not therefore current.

Slightly off-topic are there that many good reasons for having 24hrs between Nominations and Acceptances for the run of the mill weekly races? Why not go straight to Acceptance 24 hrs earlier than now. Another day of analysis and possible wagering for the punter.
Chief Stipe
Still no noms. Maybe it is to give time for ENTAIN to set their books? Might be a few surprises.
Chief Stipe
LOL @curious the 2000 Guineas closing time was 4pm and the 1000 Guineas closing time was 12pm. That would confuse most Trainers!

Perhaps there weren't any nominations and they are ringing round? Or have quietly reopened them because they are moving Cup Week to Auckland? 2
Chief Stipe
Or maybe they are giving ENTAIN time to raise the cash to pay back the "pre-nom" bets? I see you can still get "pre-nom" bets even though noms closed two days ago!
Chief Stipe
Perhaps they are waiting for the nomination payment cheques to clear?
