What is the metric you measure "more than should be" against? The way I see it the best Jockeys are frequently mentioned in the Stipes reports. They are always pushing the margins. Was easier to do it without being seen in the old days without the Bunker and the HD Video technology slo-mo from a minimum of four camera angles!!

We halt racing for so called dangerous tracks…. but see nothing wrong with dangerous riding. I’m not targeting Lily, others have a worse record
Newmarket
Well, here is another jump off today at Wanganui. Horse was leading, moved out but come on, surely this happens far too often. What’s everyone’s views on this? IMG_9877.mov

Question is, minimal movement, experienced jockey would have stayed on.
SLB2.0
They fall off easily because their feet (usually only toes) are barely in the irons. That's the price they pay.

The local mechanical bull...tossed off like a rag doll? New Zealand is the latest stamp in the passport of the French jockey, who rode more than 100 winners in his homeland and has also ridden in Germany, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Singapore. Lerner enjoyed the most successful phase of his career in Singapore, where he rode over 200 winners at Kranji including numerous big-race successes aboard the likes of the Trelawney Stud-bred superstar Lim’s Kosciuszko and his quality Kiwi-bred stablemate Lim’s Saltoro.

Well he has struggled riding in NZ, only just started back riding after a suspension, 4 times charged for using whip above allowed height. Whatever you say, looked ordinary when jumping off. Maybe he needs some Velcro….

But mate…. why is it happening in NZ all the time, had another incident at weekend. Trust me, doesn’t happen nowhere near as much in Aus
Special Agent
Reading the Wanganui Stipes Report it seems there were quite a few horses shying, running off, and generally green or wayward. Hard to fathom with the number of practice events in Central.
