To those who wish to debate the recent RIB Judgement on the GRNZ Track Manager feel free to satisfy your needs on other Social Media and not BOAY.

This Topic crosses the line with regard to BOAY's policy and because of the subject matter is likely to encourage further posts that do.

But most importantly the issue has been dealt to and as it involves innocent parties and victims it will NOT be debated on BOAY.

As I said feel free to gossip and eviscerate Greyhound Racing elsewhere.

Who is going to sign up for an 18 month job?

Why was my previous post hidden?

The GRNZ Track manager position ended up being a 16-month job.

The GRNZ COO position ended up being a 33-month job.

GRNZ positions don't always have longevity.

Are greyhound licence holders just taking the closure of their industry and livelihood in their stride?

Unless I am not looking in the right places, there doesn't seem to be much being said.

It's puzzling to me, first the decision, then the reaction.  New Zealanders have become real pushovers, as proven by how many conformed during Covid.

You are right SA, 90% cowards or stupid, 10% strong and with a back bone as evidenced during the covid scam. Not the NZ it once was.

I've heard one LP movement is in the works.

Also heard about a second LP movement in the planning stage.

Not going to say more about either of them, because contrary to some's belief, I want the industry to continue & won't be undermining them.

Agreed - While im critical of GRNZ failure to lead and make changes, leaving alot of the critical changes needed to the past year, to say the industry is harmful to animals is complete lies.

Truth is Greyhound racing in NZ is now one of the safest industries for animals in the country.

If you wanted to ban Greyhound racing on the basis of it not being safe, where do you draw the line? Ban 1080 for hurting wildlife and possums? Ban rat & mice poison/traps? Ban Cattle because they are all slaughtered? Ban thouroubreds and Harness because they have higher injury rates? Ban the SPCA because they put down 1000s, probably 10s of 1000 of animals per year as do Animal Shelters? Ban Pets as many are harmed daily and alot are abandoned/not managed well? Wouldnt need so many vets if pet owners were more responsible right... The list goes on.

You cant use the argument that dogs are a comodity either because so are cattle and dairy cattle too. So are farm dogs. Should we ban farm dogs if animals shouldnt be used to make money... what about bees. They slave away from birth to death making honey for us 🤣

Agree 100%.

There is an old saying the best defence is offence.

Put it back in the animal activists faces hard!

If they want a fight give them a fight.

Unfortunately Rennell is too nicer guy!
