A warning was placed on the barrier record of the entire. Held up final bend. Authorisation of 1st place being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the horse had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages. DREAMINSOVER - had to be steadied near the 300 metres when briefly placed in restricted room. SUPREME COMMANDER - was a late scratching after racing at the NZ Metro TC meeting on 30-11-18. XMAS BAY - hung inwards rounding the final bend. MATAU GEM - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened final bend. Shifted outwards marginally near the 300 metres. DAYS OF CHANGE - refused to leave the pre-race circle and then shifted outwards onto the grass area on the outside of the track with the gelding unable to score up. Declared a non runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e). Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial. MELT DOWN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver R May.
