So do you think the winter gallopers might race all summer and the summer ones all winter on the poly which is always good? Turning Turf tracks into hydroponic sand/turf tracks and AWT's. Actually it is noticeable that those who train on the Cambridge AWT perform better at Ellerslie than most. BUT that form doesn't transfer to a Good 4 or 3 OZ turf track.

Riccarton horses can work on it every day and become well- conditioned to the surface....which is excellent at the moment. Now that poly track is your fav…. that nag won well. Mind you, first time it’s been up front so about time you woke up and realised it’s a huge advantage in front.

Where it came from we have no idea. Do you think I enjoy watching him flat as a tack out the back and running home honestly but from too far away? One of his owners was buried today. If you gave any thoughts about that, the wee guy might have had a bit of help. 1

Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble When you're perfect in every way I can't wait to look in the mirror Cause I get better lookin' each day It found the speed cause it found a reasonable surface to let down. Always had a bit of ability but you've been running it on unsatisfactory turf tracks.

Some positive rides today are paying divs, easy punting on those that have good form on track, far better betting proposition than the grass.

She uses the Freda pseudonym here in loving memory of a half-baked trainer from yesteryear in Ms Freda White who was the ugliest most foul mouthed bitch one could ever have the misfortune to meet and who would never be granted a trainers license today.

From what I have seen , it very good racing today....very competitive ! A mixture of experienced synthetic track runners , first uppers on surface and Northern imports all showing their liking for conditions. It so obvious !
