Newmarket
I see a few well known trainers not happy on Facebook…. seems a disqualified trainer has been allowed to resume training? Who is that, no doubt it will be out in the public soon….

It was bundled in with a gripe about a horse which hadn't followed the criteria to race in 2 yr old Young Guns Trot series at ATC. It flew up from Invergiggle and took the chocs ! One trainer said it was 'corrupt ',then another high profile trainer said ...not as corrupt as the disqualified trainer etc . He taken to task on how a license holder can post like this. Its on the Harness Racing Enthusiasts NZ site ,well run and admin by Kate M. I think you need to join it to get the good info !

To be fair TAB, what HRNZ did was blatantly not honest!! Good on for Mark Jones to come out and state what has occurred, and we need more people speaking out if things are not right, rather than just accepting things! Mark stated that everyone should be treated equally, totally agree with him, whether it is owners, trainer’s and PUNTERS!! We all know that PUNTERS are not treated equally and until such time as all punters are treated equally, Brodie will continue to point out the victimisation and unfairness that some are subjected to from the betting agency in NZ! But he was on appeal somehow. Ultimately he got 3 years (along with brother Tim ) for animal cruelty. 3 year sentence back dated to last July. Their father Wayne Yole now holds the training licence at the property where bucketloads of horses are kept in pretty 'tight' conditions. Slow horses sacked off by mainland trainers. They still manage to get some wins . Somehow. 🙄. 0ebc442936d0b114a053e43ae32e5097.avif
