BOAY Interdominion DRAFT championship

For 3 weeks the Interdominion will be run at Albion Park each Saturday Evening. July 5th and 12th heats into the 2 Grand Finals on 19th July.

 

To support the runners and enjoy the racing We will get a 2025 BOAY Interdominion Championship  winner as well.🏆🎉

 

1/  EACH CONTESTANT will get FIVE different horses Each to Earn points through the Heats and Final with.  (Points scored will be what the actual horse itself earns in the race) 

2/ There are 3 Pacers heats and 2 Trotters heats during the first 2 weeks . with 2 Grand Finals and 2 Consolations run on 19th July to earn the points in.

3/ Your runners will be drawn by Draft at 7pm NZ Time . on Wed2nd, Thurs3rd  and  Fri4th  July.

 A runner on these evenings from the Pool of Horses listed on those evenings will be randomly selected (from deck of cards) for each gun BOAY player competing. 

 (LEAP TO FAME will be excluded from the draw)   ( random draw is to stop any star punter like the Brodster picking the 5 Best horses 😂 )  

4/ Horses will be Allocated to BOAY players at approx 7.00pm NZ time   each of those evenings until they have their 'Stable ' of 5 runners to support throughout the series on Friday evening during the Friday night lights.  (3 Pacers and 2 Trotters each) 

5/ POINTS  from each round are scored from the Horses Finishing Placing in Each heat and Final . Here is the Official scoring table for the Interdominion .

Points Table Position 1st scores 16 points, 2nd =13, 3rd =11, 4th =9, 5th =8,  6th =7,  7th =6,  8th =5  9th =4, 10th =3, 11th =2, and 12th (last place) = 1 point scored.

 6/ Mr Rangatira has a head start of 10 points , and TAB4ever has 5 points accrued from the first half of the BOAY Interdominion Competition that they played well.

7/  If any of your 5 horse's is withdrawn / scratched for any reason , Another runner will be allocated for you instantly by me , to that race so you can still Earn Points . 

and FINALLY  I would like to keep the BOAY Championship at 10 Competitors max. this will give 50 horses a supporter for the Interdominion  (Leap to Fame still excluded 😆 he will trying to beat your stable on his lonesome )    

* So we have Ranga, Chief, Mr Galah, TABman, Brodster , and Gamma lining up for a unique stable of 5 Interdominion runners so far . 

The Stable accruing the Most Points by end of Grand Final night at Brissie on July 19th will be the NZ INTERDOMINION Grand Champion  (no matter what Larry does lol 🤣)

Have just pulled out a beautiful deck of cards with some great equine harness stars on the back . Even a VILLAGE KID card there . A beautiful NZ horse that even got a book wrote about him in the end.  He won the Interdominion here at Brissie . (the first of 4 i've been too here)  so is sure to bring you Luck in the 2025 BOAY Draft today.

Five 2025 Interdominion runners will make their way into each BOAY harness racing supporter stable later today.

WHO will get fine NZ reps 'OscarB' ? Who will get 'Bet N Win' ? Who will be on edge getting 'Pinseeker' ?

well , some of the fastest anyway 😂 , so some 'best and fast'  BOAY racers can race for the BOAY Interdominion Title with a stable of 5 horses to race against each other.

Have drawn 5 playing cards Per PLAYER that represented 3 of the 'better'  Pacers and 2 Trotters each competing.

This took only a few minutes so am giving tomorrow night and Friday night Draft the flick and Drawing All your FIVE horses right now.   lets hope you're Happy with your Stable team !!   remember it's 3 Pacers and 2 Trotters each.

Your stable will score points based on the horses finishing position for it's 3 starts across the 3 race nights.  The Points score-table is the Interdominion Official one seen in the rules at the beginning of thread . 

I will give a Points Up-date here after each race.

Trotters Time. Heat 1 Trotters

Hot fav London To A Brick caused a false start , and then just didn't want to trot the 2nd go. bad luck Chief.

Meanwhile The GALAH has been backed into Hot Favourite 😳 in the BOAY Interdominion Comp by nailing the Quinella in Heat 1 for the trotters , that weren't far off dead heating.👍

The Locals Golden Sunset 16 pts and Gus 13 points collect The Galah an impressive 29 points  . 

(and a equally impressive $64 Quinella divvie', which was nice.🍻 ) 

1st  Golden Sunset ,  2nd  Gus,  Great stuff Mr Galah 🏆🎉    3rd  place was  'Parisian Artiste '( 11 pts for TAB),     

no one on the 4th horse.

                2nd in was a nice QLD locals Not As Promised ( who ran 4th in the NZ trotting Derby one time)

Nearly all horses performed well but some might be traded next round that just are/were not up to it  e.g like Eurokash and Majestic Lavros  for Brodie and Mikey to get them a more competitive horse for next 2 weeks.

2nd Round Heats Fields are out , and the New Zealand Interdominion Rep PINSEEKER has been thrown in the Heat with both the last 2 Interdominion Champions in Leap To Fame and Don Hugo.  Race 4 at 8.38 (NZ time) Sat. 

Jonny Cox will be trying to work out how best to run 3rd with Pinseeker without busting his guts 🤔.  Don Hugo drew One as well , so Leap to Fame will have to 'torch' him , if he wants to win , just like he did at Cambridge.

For the DRAFT Comp , about 30  of our 35 runners went ok round one.

Unfortunately there is about 20 real DUD horses competing to make up the 12 horses fields.  9 horse quality Heats would of been a much better idea.  nearly all the 20 duds ran in the last 4 in round One. 

CHIEF had a real dud in DOUGS Platter who doesn't even look up to a FFA , let alone the Interdominion , so am adding Tim's A Trooper to his team this week.  a tough horse with one of our best stables.  Chief is a real ' trooper 'who might get some of the money with it. good luck Chief !!

I think your trotter 'London To A Brick' will gallop again too. but can't help that sorry Chief. seems a rogue. 

BRODIE Not 'on the money' with Eurocash , who looks a Dud .The  Brodster only likes NZ dollars and not silly Euro anyway. 😎💰 , so am adding 'Constantinople' with one of Aussies best horsemen in the country Luke McCarthy to Brodsters team of 5 horses. good luck Brodster !

MIKEY has Majestic Lavros who wasn't getting much in NZ  2 years ago , and is getting even less here 🙄. so is a dud. and we'll add 'Not As Promised ' to Mikeys team to try and get some better points round 2 , after that horse ran a pretty good 2nd to the super NZ star BetNWin in the first round. Obviously you don't know there's been no swabbing of grant Dixon trained runners hes untouchable and is allowed to get away with blatant team driving If anyone bets on Qld trots they need to check themselves into a mental institution you cannot get more fixed races and team driving from stables if you tried 5 runners pre race swabbed in rising Sun none of the Dixon trained runners 😂🤣

Don't worry about Grant old Forb's mate. A splendid horseman . and good friend. Watch out for that Rising Sun winner 'Fate Awaits' in the Velocity at Addington later in the year possibly.  you can Swab him then when he wins it ?  

From the Rising Sun. Placegetter's Fate Awaits, The Janitor and Jacks Ultimate Fury all swabbed post race. Major Hot the NZer of Grimsons swabbed Pre-race (as you should 😅) and pre race bloods Hesitate of McCarthys and The Janitor of McMullens. I'll let you know if they find anything old Mate !!!

Don't worry about Fixed races . When you're quality , you're quality Forbs. Actually the winning driver Trista did a years Disqualification when pulling aside to let Grant win once a little while back. Leading driver Shane Graham did 2 years DQ , just for taking the lead off a stable-mate.  They get away with Jack-shit here mate. Bet Away I say !!!
