Wow, how bad can it get? This winter has seen the worst of jumping, today at Woodville the same.

I’ve always like the jumpers, but on what I have seen recently, it’s only time before they ban it.

Fine. Dont watch if you can't hack it. By the way jumping has been driven into the ground more than flat racing because of inept industry control.

I do watch it, everyone likes a trainwreck…. but come on, it’s a disgrace.

I think of the 43 who went around only one horse actually fell, that being Nightfall.

However the standard of jumping overall wasn't flash but I put that down to the man made erected fences and not having live brush fences.

Last jumping race at Te Aroha another disaster.

If greyhound racing is cruel, fuck knows what you call jumping in NZ.

How was it a "disaster"?  You obviously know zero about horse racing or even horses for that matter.  Have you ever ridden a horse in your life?  Do you know what they are capable of doing physically?

Suggest you take up Sports Betting.  Most contact sports are cruel.

Most bizarre post Chief….

Now let’s see…. Those in contact sports, I think they decide if they want to put themselves in danger or not…. nags don’t have any choice do they?
Or will you disagree with this?

Have you got anything positive to say about racing at all?

There was nothing wrong with those jumps races at Te Aroha.

Quite frankly I'm get pissed off with you whinging anti-racing types.

You knock everything.  Come back when you have something positive to say.

I thought your argument was spurious as Newmarket pointed out. It's apples and oranges when humans play contact sports of their own volition. Calling them risky is one thing but hardly cruel. Horses on the other hand have little choice but to participate in jumping races and that's for human entertainment.
