Great to see this horse still parading around the Hospitals and old people's homes as a therapy horse

Yes, 31 this year!

Animal therapy is pretty well recognised as part of the overall care strategy now

Its great to see this old boy still hale and heart...and delivering..

Now, lets digress for a moment...to a story of another grey haired old bugger..who aint delivering..know who I mean?

Maybe Subzero, or an old grey horse like him in NZ. can make it to the  Karaka sales complex in a few days..the human old bugger with dementia symptons could jump on his back and be led into the parade ring like some Knight from days gone by and scream 'all is saved, I'm here...here's the great news you've been expecting from me....maidens to rise to $6000 !! Group 1's to be a minimum of $120,000 !! We're building a track at...Thames!!....Taxinda's behind you...(sniggering..thanks for getting me the starring role you silly of bugger)..

Because in all seriousness the industry better start praying for a ' White Knight' to come to its rescue bloody soon !

I recall being at Flemington for Cup Week and Derby Day was stifling hot 29-31 degrees on the Saturday...and I froze my buns off in the back of the Hill Stand on Tuesday as the weather turned very very cold very quickly...the day a horse called Subzero won the Cup!

Omen bet if ever there was one.
