No, but generally haven't taken many to the coast for sometime, back in the day would supply a number of horses for the entire circuit, which used to have 2 days in November as well as a meeting or two after xmas. Has a few young ones in at reefton tomorrow, kumara noms out today, guess with three meets in a week, one club will miss out, light numbers for reefton, a struggle to find a roughie. 1 Quote
billy connolly Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Parson's found an edge a long time ago and has stuck with the formula. A stalwart of southern racing whose horses always look good and are/were never without a chance. South Island racing clubs are indebted to J. Parsons. Edited 19 hours ago by billy connolly 1 Quote

How very true, certainly been in the game for many a year, and supplied a lot of horses up and down the island for a long time, I remember few years back racing the grand mare kiwi idea at riverton, they've had a lot of very good horses over the years, diablo girl, tidy sprinter, a couple from my era I used to follow sharemarket and share offer, definitely not there best, but many I would have forgotten.
