Well,

Looked like it was just out for a run today, no chance the way it was driven, in fact did very well for 3rd.

$2 Fav, poor old punters get screwed again, maybe connections should have told stipes that they intended to settle last, just run home to be close up.

No doubt big race coming up, May back on, will be in lead or parked, or very handy a lap out.

One reason i only bet mostly now in the big races, when the money is up, they all try.

I guess if there is no requirements to tell punters it was only going to sit and come with one run, then we shouldn't be too surprised.

There is no doubt punters have too much faith sometimes .

I think too you had a driver who often you never know what you may get these days.. That race illustrated that well.

If Ricky May had driven it, at least you  know he can  try and not knock them around at the same time.  They can do both.

Agreed, McKendry never put the horse in the race, in Australia he would be asked the question why not, but not over here, punters just get screwed once again.

We were told, that a punter had 8k on at $2.20!

Seems like a lot to put on drawn the second row with MM on nowadays.

Yes, poor drive, punter will be spewing as Wainui Creek was c,early the best horse Iin The race,

MM should’ve moved at the 1200m and got into the race, as no show at Auckland sitting back.
