Thomass
Anyone know wtf Shelton was on about on his yea na segmen today?? Something about an anon correspondent to the Informant giving it to somebody?? Was it Shelton or something? Thank da Lords it's the last show of the season next week... This show was meant to be HARD hitting and dealing with controversies... ...but all they come up with was the 'na' segment...and loads of Arstralian racing..which is covered on Arstralian review shows... ...although Guerins fake smile was kinda cute Anyway Dean McKenzie's on next week in the 1 1/2 hour Finale show for the season And the Arstralian shows get to go on for another 2 months...promoting their Racing Industry ...at our expense... Blardy marvellous
Thomass
So the massive problem with having Harness men on a Thoroughbred Review show... ..while they have 'knowledge' of Thoroughbreds...these two can't devote their entire time to our code Hence ignoring things like Bakar winning the race narrowly...while breaking the whip rules Finer details like that go out the door.... Perhaps the Boys Wear Plaid Kemmys could be the go He has some knowledge by now...and could add a whole refreshing new age view on things That could be a master stroke...after all Shelton has a very flat straight down the line personality Soory Shelt...nothing personal...but this show needs PERSONALITY
SLB2.0
It's painful to watch. The tension, awkwardness and overall feel of the show makes me want to never watch NZ racing again.
All The Aces
You really do have to wonder why two harness people are running a thoroughbred review hour. ?
Thomass
Ain't that the truth... Sherwin is your straight stats man with the detail...but he's as dry az Cooksley who's swallowed a teaspoon of tumeric powder There's only room for ONE of those.... There needs to be a few fart, horse shit, ribald, rollicking even small proboscis type jokes... Kemmys could do that... ...an ex woman Jockey who crosses her legs beautifully... ..just like the Oz one..nothing wrong with that... ...Sam Sprat type...can't be current due to the sucking up nature.. ...and Guerin could be the Woman's crumpet bit...top two buttons undone and a Gold chain... Get On's like that...but they also need a Woman...to slap Ritcho's head...like a cookie boy...

Murtha is a major irritant, constantly playing with his pen, pretending to tick things off his list; terrible posture, always looking at the wrong camera, and with as much personality and energy as a dead brick; Sherwin and Guerin give useful industry insights but I'm surprisedthey cant find anyone out there who's got the sort of professional presentation skills and knowledge that Ozzie has truckloads of ....Radley is a master; Dufficy... Richo, Lizzie ...an endless list of energetic insightful presenters who know how to make their points but keep the show movin' along... SLB2.0
Any laughter on that show and also the preview show is forced. In Australia, it comes naturally because they're quality characters who don't take themselves too seriously.. yet... they're much more professional than our lot. It's a dim studio setting, dim hosts and not a professional punter in sight - that goes for the preview show (can't even remember its name, that's how bad it is)
Mark D
Don't watch the show much but I've always found Sheldon very good - one bad habit he developed though (started many years ago when he was No.1 presenter on Trackside) is gazing past whoever he is interviewing or past the camera. Gives off a pompous vibe.
