Who needs a Grays Sports Almanac?

I admire the guy and you have to admire his wife. Not many would have her attitude. Hope he stops now and retires a massive winner..

Good on him, sometimes you get that gut feeling.....(I certainly wouldn't tell the wife!) It would take big kahuna's to put $85000 on a 14-1 chance and add to that tiger is always alot shorter in price than he should be.

My strong instincts to unload have never been that strong so we have to admire his determination. I'm sure for every one of him there is a very long line who's wager did not end happily ever after.

Would have loved to watch him during the last round. Bet he couldn't sit still. I remember a multi I had where I stood to win a 115k during a previous Football World Cup. Was Fonzie until the last match....then I wasn't :)

Frankly if he had $85k to lose without bankrupting himself or being financially stuffed then he didnt have big Kahunas. Its when you take that gamble knowing you are risking everything that takes guts. Good on him either way.

$85000

...bet on a golf tournament. That is a fool's bet.

Golf has too many variables and unknowns. He might as well have been at a roulette table.

And he has a mortgage on his house and 2 car loans??

Flag, get that gambling helpline number ready for this man because he has serious issues. Really serious issues.

I certainly couldn't do it, if you dropped that sort money you would be ringing life line first!!!! Imagine having to sit through 4 days of a golf tournament though..if you weren't bald and grey before you certainly would be after!!

72 holes of golf and with one shot the tournament could be over or one of the other 80 odd players could have the week of their lives or his back plays up or he gets distracted by the waitress at the local Hooters Club in Atlanta...endless things we don't know.

At least we know Jafa Kitten is not going to run 1.47 and change for a mile.

Came up M.T

Had a draw in the last game between Australia and Italy. Moments away from my biggest ever collect and the Italians were gifted a dubious penalty which they converted. Great divers the Italians.

Heartbreaking, those Italian football players spend more time rolling around on the ground than playing.
