boobybec
You would have to have a few screws loose if you are going to bet with confidence in the lower south island from now to the end of August. Riverton how unforgiving is that??
Guest CrossCodes
Agree, I had a sneaky bet on He’s Not Heavy today, it couldn’t keep up from the get go and was tailed off the whole way, would have assumed the trainer would not have raced it if it couldn’t handle the going, that assumption was wrong. Will be my last bet down there this winter.

To be fair, he has been racing in 2000m distances for a while now, so probably not surprising to see him outpaced early, trainer thought he would go ok, but did say he preferred better tracks, hard for a stayer dropping back to the mile all the same, wouldn't drop him on that, some just don't handle that riverton track. Thomass
If the Neddy numbers are down what about some Sheepsy racing? Just steel say 300 head...they won't find them in Gorrrrrre... ...chuck in 8/10 Rams for an all in Derby type race for breeding purposes... ...change Waimumu to Waibaba to get some free publicity..and we're away sorted
