Kopia
With Spark getting the Rugby World Cup, and now live cricket broadcasts where does this leave Trackside and Sky? You'd think that SKY would now be quite dependant on Trackside funds, and if Sky lose live golf as well they're in deep shit. Nows the time for RITA to get stuck into SKY and get a better deal. Clearly Free to Air would be much better for racing fans but I can't see that..? 2
nomates
If they want any hope of real increase in participation rates and increased turnover from horse racing free to air has to become a must , if i was making any decisions that would be one of my first . Terrible decision to lose it in the first place . Out of sight out of mind . I'm no big rugby fan but this present world cup is almost invisible .
Boulevard21
There is a spare spot already on free to air TV. It is called Parliament TV
The Centaur
When racing restarts I doubt there will be any SkyTV. So where does that put NZ racing. Its quite obvious SkyTV cannot compete with the likes of YouTube, Netflix and others. The only reason I've ever had Sky is because racing. Russian TV is getting a bit tiresome. There is just nothing worthwhile on SkyTv even before the virus. Plain and simple SkyTV is dead. Why should racing follow down the same path?
