Rangiora racecourse there are concerns that northcanterbury earthworks company Taggart earthmoving have applied to extract gravel from the racecourse. so there might be no racers there in time

Revenue for the course if it happens but I doubt it will because of the resident's views.

They reckon it won't affect the training of horses on track. But picking the locals won't be too happy about it!

Old news - consent hearing coming up but no idea whether RHC is for it or against it.

I imagine, that the RHC would be quite OK with the venture, esp as it should help the financial viability of the venue.
