mikeynz
Very funny,we like to bleat about how great we are but we must remember we take rugby seriously Australia don't,remember cricket is their number 1 game so yep we win rugby but last Xmas proved at cricket they are best, probably apart from the islands no where else is rugby that big. Joe Bloggs
What a shame Caleb isn't playing for St George or the Storm even, he'd be a sensation at the 13 man game, now here's a conundrum for you, who'd win a hybrid game, Kangaroos or the AB's......first half league, 2nd half union........I'll go first, Kangaroos hold the AB's to 10 zip first half, 2nd half Kangas by 30.......there you go. The league boys wd get destroyed in the scrums, lineouts and at the breakdown, they'd be down by 40 at HT, they'd also get done at their own scrums. Huey
I though Cane had another good game, the Captaincy seems to be making him shine a bit, hopefully it continues. Still think we miss a Whitelock in the pack, but they all went quite well.
Joe Bloggs
Rugby is only the 4th tier sport over here Huey, this new coach is doing pretty well with what he has to work with, the Kangaroos are on a different level to any other, they would destroy most union teams at the tackle and the breakdown, remember Israel Folau is a leagie, his athletic ability was above and beyond, a bit like Clarke is now, League is a lot faster game than union, their fitness levels are superior IMO. It would sell out an 100K seat stadium here and the TV rights would be astronomical ..........would walk over broken glass to see it happen. No way they would, they wouldn't match it with any of the top 8 teams in the RWC at Union no hope, different body shapes, technique etc . They'd certainly win the RL part though. Agree Rennie is a real loss to NZ rugby no doubt about that.
