Happy Sunrise
I see Jeff Scott has passed away. He was at the Press for a long time and I remember avidly reading his articles. Seems like a distant memory when racing was a worthy addition in a newspaper. For me, his name is up there amongst the best of all harness racing writers.

Dave Cannan worked at the Christchurch Star back in the good old days when harness was popular and addington always packed. Times have changed...😧

What I was meaning is do they actually still have the race form, results etc,I read the ODT online and there are stories but not really as much as before so I'm not up with the print business any more. Wish he was still involved .

Dave retired from the ODT a couple of years back, having gone on to general news reporting after his racing journalism stint. He was then chief reporter at the ODT before moving into an editorial executive role until his retirement. Still keeps an eye on the trots.
