I think we realise that but can the soak holes cope with the water from the additional area? If not, any surplus will infiltrate the course proper from the swales won't it?

pitty going off re first day track conditions trained 4 bloody winners saying track manager doctered  tracks to suit others??????????????????????????????? tough man as every jock on tv said track was outstanding

Where did he say that?  The track was fair to all.  His only gripe must be that it didn't suit Marine.

The Track was perfect and I congratulated Alan Chapman on the day after R 1 for the track we had YOU TOSSER!

Well, we have had a fair bit of rain, and very unseasonable ..so, nature is certainly to 'blame'....or would you prefer the track management to cop more flak?

Tracks have been excellent since the Oct. 3rd meeting.

Yes an excellent track presented last Saturday and that involved some skillful management of irrigation options.  Today's track a different story with the Big Boy upstairs playing a bigger hand.  Nearly two inches on rain on Monday set the scene.  Of course a Strathayr wouldn't have been affected as much and would recover quicker.
