Won easily 4 starts back at Wingatui over 1200m. Followed up with an 11th over 1400m 8 days later. Stepped out at Riccarton next start for a 7.6 length 6th over 1400m. Raced too keenly which it is inclined to do sometimes. " Stewards report: FREE AND EASY (T Moseley) - Held up through the early and middle stages of the run home. Worth another go at $21 on CrownBet Will win once it races consistently. Perhaps it needs blinkers, winkers and indicators Stipe Comment: Slow to begin, steadied momentarily passing the 600 metres 1 Quote

FeelTheFear Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 First of all it was beaten 2 lengths by 2 northern horses, the rest were southern. Secondly, the object was to pick a value horse over $10. Who new? 1 Quote

FeelTheFear Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Riccarton, race 5 #13 Swissky. Consistent performances throughout career though did put in a bad one when winning 3 starts ago. Stipe Comment: Began awkwardly losing ground. (blinkers on). First start. Stipe Comment: Hampered on jumping away losing ground. (blinkers off) Stipe Comment: Had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the final straight. Stipe Comment: Lay inwards throughout the run home and could not be ridden to full advantage. Stipe Comment: Made contact with ITS TOO LATE passing the 200 metres and shifted in under pressure inconveniencing ITS TOO LATE passing the 125 metres. (Won this race - blinkers on) Stipe Comment: Raced keenly in lead, hampered passing 250m when weakening rider being of opinion may have held breath (must have seen Mr T's posts) Stipe Comment: Over raced early stages, contacted 400m (side winkers on first time) Stepping up from B65, 4yo geldings go well this time of year. Side winkers still on an 'indicator'? Must be the one surely? Quote

mardigras Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) I think Stokers Rock could go well also, but at $12 NZ TAB, too low for me. I price him at $14 (inclusive of margin) Edited August 10, 2018 by mardigras 1 Quote
