FeelTheFear Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Taupo tomorrow, race 1 #1 Abrahams. Must be at least a place bet, will wait until market opens. Has ability, unlucky in a couple of runs before a break. Had a trial recently. Tell Mr T blinkers off, add 20%. 1 Quote

Slow away and came from last, 1.8 lgths from winner. Waiting for Masque to get more distance, a mile would suit. 2 Quote

FeelTheFear Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 there are a couple at value but I'm not sure if I can recommend them yet. However, race 6 #7 Princess Sapphire is at $8 currently and 1600m will suit. Needed fresh up run last start. From the 'Flight' family, her granddam Sapphire Flight bred on the beautiful Noble Bijou x Mellay cross. 1 Quote
Weasel Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Pukekohe R5 No 3 The Kipling Girl. $9 and $3 Fixed at present. Really like her chances here - freshened and dropping back to 1600m - has won on the course over this distance, wont mind the Dead 5 surface, even better of there's a shower or two. (Has also won before after being freshened.) A genuine horse who hasn't had a lot of luck - 3 wins, 5 x 2nds and 7 other placings some in quite decent company. Big roomy straight will suit and has 3kg claim from in-form apprentice Wiremu Pinn. Can run handy but from an outside draw I'd refer her to settle back and come home fast! Worth a dollar or two each way. 1 Quote
