Taking a look this horsey was brought for $4k at the 2019 weanling sales by Logan & Roberston. Mr Ibiza ran a nice 2nd in 1st Young Guns heat, nearly won his sale price back. Have they L&R purchased the bargin buy of the 2019 weanling sale (now 2 y-o) & now just sold the Top lot of yearling sale . (well yes if its just Auckland sale). Chevrons Bypass was sold for 22k same weanling sale 2019, Miki Montana also went for same price/sale. Found interesting, not sure if others will, that a horse called Bollinger now 2y-o was passed in at weanling sale for 50k, then went on to sell at the yearling sale for $200k to J Feiss. Still 2 months to go tho. Thinking might add in another points based thing, eg give everyone a number & race number prior draw, eg Gamms horse Number 10 in Race 2. (so whoever horses draws that number in that race will be your horse also for Jewels day). The final update will be, once the final 12 have qualified, anyone that horse is not in the final 12 will be given a number PRE-draw & that will be your horse for the final. Horses will have more than 1 poster for the final. Along the way, have had requests from some to be on a specific horse, which have been allocated discretely. Its all for fun, & ALL points will go towards the final prize. Taking a quick look at numbers from stables and Cullen comes out on top with 17 so far qualified + 1 emergency. Dunn is next with 9, including Looee who has snuck into the 4 y-o boys after a withdrawal 😄 Telfers rounding up the top 3 with 8 qualifiers + 1 emergency Republican Party has been withdrawn after qualifying yesterday, so Mossdale Ben (Big Bang) are in 2 y-o boys. Am going to throw my guess in now, Cullen to take out of 3 of 9, both 2 y-o boy & girl races + 4y-o mares with Amazing Dream. Might upt it to 4 winners, but will await draw 3 y-o girls. Giving some of the others a chance if they draw inside her e.g. Darling Me, La Rosa, Life a Beach at Cambridge to lead or even trail.
