Guest CrossCodes
I wonder why he decided to drive her himself tonight? He is a terrible driver who wisely puts good drivers on board, but decided he would dust off his silks and get his cane out and drive this old girl himself tonight, all he had to do was follow the pegs but the useless old man got himself into all sorts of trouble when trying to push off and made the mare gallop. Why he decided to drive her himself is a mystery, yes I’m talking through my pocket but even a totally nil driver could have driven her better. What made it worse was the first two horses were always going to get him in to the straight and the sprint lane so either he's stupid or didn't do any form knowing the horses in front weren't going to stop in his face... Try backing Springbank Mason @17s and jumping up and down only for him to break just short of the post when in front... hate to say it but Phil W is going through a rough patch just like my punting. Crosscodes, it was actually Brad Williamson’s fault more than Goodman’s! Brad was coming off the fence from the trail and Goodman came up the inside, but Williamson went back to the fence. Yes Goodman is not flash and should not drive like a lot of others. Yes Dachy wouldve been in the money without doubt but you are not the only one that took the risk! There is always tomorrow night as the fields are not too bad for punting if you can get on for enough! If the profit from the NZ TAB is ahead of budget, then why dont they be KIND and let punters on for what they want? You know the odds now beat them!!!

Yes, never start counting the money until the race is over. I also learnt that the hard way. Earlier in the season I backed Ohoka Agent, I think it was at Winton. I got on at great odds, the horse had a dream run in the trail and charged to the lead up the the passing lane. He put two lengths on them, I thought I was in and started counting the hundreds I was about to collect. Suddenly, with about 75m to go, the horse goes into a mad gallop. Rich won second, broke the next! Never count the money until the race is over 😆😆 2

Broke leaving the final bend after contacting the sulky wheel of OHOKA AGENT. Driver I Goodman admitted a breach of careless driving with the Adjudicative Committee imposing a fine of $250. The stipes didn’t agree with your assessment (or mine) Just a case of a trainer who should stick to training and leave the driving up to the professionals, as this old mare still has a a win or 2 left in her. It was just so bad to watch I had to think he would be reprimanded. So sad to see Forbury go, my biggest ever win was a pick 6 there many many years ago, with Freeway Don winning the last leg, it was around $15,000 I remember correctly? Yes Goodman not that GOOD in the cart! However, Brad Williamson was halfcarting and Goodman thought Brad would continue outwards on the home bend but he went back in and Dachy touched Ohoka Agent! Dont believe everything you read nowadays about anything as a lot of it is incorrect!!!!!! You only need to read the crap in the papers! There was an article this morning about a 40 year old lady in the U.S. that supposedly died of the deadly Delta Variant of Covid 19 because she was scared to get vaccinated!!! They say that she may not have died if she had be vaccinated!!! No mention whatsoever of the fact that she had heart problems!!!!! No we wont mention that as it doesnt fit with their agenda does it?
