Chief Stipe Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 From David Ellis: In other news – I have been regularly asked when the new season of ‘Weigh In’ is set to start. We are just waiting for the broadcast studio in Auckland to reopen, as under Level 4 Covid restrictions it closed as it is not deemed an ‘essential service’. We do have a date tentatively set and we hope to be in production after the first Group 1 of the season, which is Saturday week at Hawkes’ Bay. Fingers crossed!!! Quote

When is NZTR going to start using its new found marketing budget? What will NZTR spend it on? It isn't in TAB NZ's budget any more to promote NZ Thoroughbred Racing. Quote

Well between TAB NZ, NZTR and HRNZ they did force the only independent publication out of business - The Informant. As for NZRacingDesk and Luuurrrve Racing I guess we can expect more banal cookie cut stories. No hard hitting editorial. Quote
Gospel of Judas Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Personally in current form it is a waste of money, if done properly, then be good asset to industry. Quote
