I'm awaiting the Stewards report re both Williamson runners in the maiden trot.

Some good racing there today & some decent times run.

The bublitz driven horse looks to have some promise, but someone needs to tell him that having an inexperienced trotters head on an angle as you come off the back of a horse, and pulling the ear plugs at the same time is likely to cause your own horse to break. And of course that is what happened.  His tactics in the first part of the race looked like he wasn't trying as well.  Having said that he looks like once he finally gets his first win, that he may get a few more a bit quicker.

Your first sentence is 10000% correct and a bloke who has driven for about 4 years should know better than that.. and he did it all on a bend as well, another 20 odd meters of patience and it would have been good to see the finish the horse could have produced, really interested on what the syndicate lads on this site think?

I know they are junior drivers for a reason but it's not like he's having his 10th drive, he's close to 100, his drive in the 2nd was good from a bad spot in running.... interesting to see his parents are the owners and sent the horse south but not to him at the Williamson but to the Hope's.

Kosciuszko looks a like a beauty of a trotter, great looking animal.

You would assume the trainer would point out the poor decisions he made in that race and hopefully he drives better next time.If he can retain the drive he should be getting his first winner soon.Maybe he is feeling the pressure or lacking confidence in himself. Who knows. Drivers like that should just focus on moving forward at the right time in races instead of trying to drive too clever.

You see experienced drivers making similar mistakes. I referred to one in the first race at winton on thursday. It happens.

wasnt at all happy - think the words ringing in his ears might have helped in the 2nd race - he should have been on the back of the John Hay runner early

Good luck Monday with Majestic Man, actually thought the run was good last week, only ran a second or so more than Sundees Sun and from where he was at the 400 in he was never in a winning position --- Leading on Monday will be a different story but was also very impressed with Oscar B.
