Brodie
I note the meeting at Washdyke on Wednesday has their sprint distance now over 2050 metres! For as long as I can remember it has always been 2000 metres! This is probably a very good idea as it will give runners an extra 50 metres to the first bend! Will be interesting to see what the drivers think?

There will be more straight to use before first bend. an excellent move In my opinion.
Brodie
Yep, the 2050 metre start seems to have worked! Not so much rushing to the first bend and gives everyone more opportunity to settle. Not sure why they didnt have this starting point years ago?
